Education
Required - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration, or Computer Science or related area
Preferred - Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Work Experience
Preferred - Experience in financial analysis, forecasting and reporting
Preferred- Experience in the healthcare industry
Certifications
Preferred - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively testing for certification

- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various office software packages and keyboard.

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.
Mechanical lifting devices (carts, dollies, etc.) or team lifts should be utilized.

Job Duties
- Performs daily maintenance of current appointment schedules including the opening of schedules on a monthly basis and multiple daily book outs and schedule changes.
- Maintains the physician and ancillary master schedules.
- Develops and implements of computer training programs for new and existing employees.
- Downloads and distributes of reports and miscellaneous other duties.
- Assists in identifying and solving computer issues and problems specific to user IDs and print setup.
- Other related duties as required.

- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) - American Heart Association and
- ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist_PSV and
- CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation_PSV through the Texas Medical Board
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Instructor (AHA)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles
- Possesses basic computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems to include, Hospital / Radiology Information Systems and Office software to maintain patient and exam documents.

- Reports “near misses” and inputs errors promptly into appropriate hospital patient safety reporting system to improve processes and identify trends. Contributes to identification of corrective actions and improvement activities, and contributes to meeting department and hospital targets for quality and safety.
- Performs daily imaging equipment quality control (QC) ensuring all imaging equipment is in safe working order prior to use. Reports any malfunctions to management and regularly practices preventive maintenance procedures; calls for service if needed.
- Utilizes critical thinking skills to observe and proactively address patient reactions (i.e. contrast media and medications) or potential outcomes and obtains assistance, as appropriate.

SUMMARY:
The Un-Registered Medical Technologist, under general supervision performs a wide variety of routine and specialized studies on blood, urine and body fluids samples as requisitioned by a physician, to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, following established standards and practices. A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology ASCP eligible, such as a recent graduate that is awaiting taking the MT test.
ASCP eligible or other acceptable Certification agency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Twelve months of clinical education/training in a school of Medical Technology or its equivalent.

Essential Functions
- Phlebotomist I is responsible for accurately collecting patient specimens for diagnostic testing while working in a professional medical environment. This position functions as part of a dynamic and engaging team with a workload that ranges from fast-paced hospital settings and high/low volume clinics. Caregivers in this role will gain valuable experience and knowledge to help prepare them for workplace and career advancement.
- The Phlebotomist I perform specimen collection using many different techniques such as venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections. These caregivers collect specimens from patients of various acuities, such as Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Inpatient – including newborns, patients in intensive care, and all other areas of the hospital. They are at the forefront of patient care and adhere to and enforce the standards for laboratory compliance and safety regulations.
- Adherence to personal protective requirements in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, including but not limited to gowns, gloves, lab coats, face shields, and masks.
- Intermountain Caregivers in this role will communicate procedures and instructions with patients and family members and demonstrate empathy during every interaction. They will also have opportunities for growth, developing skills such as:
