We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health and foster positive patient experiences in a friendly, professional environment. *Responsibilities*

* Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent decay and gum disease.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs.
* Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort.
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
* Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to uphold safety standards.

*Qualifications*

* Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
* Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.
* Proficiency with dental software systems
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on dental care topics.

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
