Physical Therapy Tech

Physical Therapy (Outpatient)
The Physical Therapy Department provides rehabilitative services focused on improving mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life. Physical therapists work with patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or other conditions that affect movement and physical performance. Through individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions, the team helps patients regain independence and achieve their highest level of function.
The Physical Therapy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients and treatment areas, assisting with exercises and equipment, transporting patients, and maintaining an organized and safe therapy environment. The technician may also assist with clerical duties and the orientation of new employees and volunteers while providing appropriate support to patients with cognitive, visual, hearing, or mobility limitations.
Job Description:
Assists PT/PTA staff with patient treatments and exercises as directed.
Prepares patients, equipment, and treatment areas for therapy services.
Safely assists with patient transfers, positioning, and transportation.
Observes and reports patient concerns or changes in condition to the PT/PTA.
Cleans, organizes, stocks, and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
Identifies and reports malfunctioning equipment.
Assists with patient statistics, processing orders, front desk coverage, and clerical duties.
Provides positive and professional customer service.
Follows hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Basic life support- Applicants will have 30 days from their hired date to provide completion of this certification if they don’t have it already.

FULL TIME - DAYS
Med Surg Telemetry is a 22-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.
Job Description:
Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Under general supervision, provides professional nursing services and patient care in a variety of settings. Follows established nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies, and nursing procedures, standards, and practices. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Assessment and identification of patient needs and implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
- Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently.
- Has access to medication storage areas as required for job tasks. Follows Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
- Current RN licensure or temporary Kentucky work permit
- Associate Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Completion and maintenance of BLS.
- ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) within 6 months of hire.
- NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
- Successful completion of all competencies as identified on the departmental nurse competency grid.
- BLS Required

Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services using radiographic and fluoroscopic technology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. This role performs imaging procedures, image processing, and related techniques to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a radiologist or licensed independent practitioner. The Radiologic Technologist applies professional judgment, upholds high ethical standards, and adapts to varying patient conditions to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality exams.
- Executes ionizing radiation to patients to take x-ray images in the safest manner possible.
- Prepares room, equipment, and materials as needed for patients daily.
- Participates in CQI activities and provides input for improvement.
- Provides directions to patients regarding radiologic exams. Provides education to patients regarding their ordered exams.
- Cleans and disinfects x-ray room and equipment after each exam.
- Maintains adequate and proper records.
- Prepares barium and other chemical mixtures for x-rays.
- Must pass initial competency test and yearly competency testing thereafter.
- Will assume other duties applicable to the operation of the Radiology Department as needed. Demonstrates flexibility of working hours to assure 24-hour departmental coverage, which may include on-call duty.
- Must maintain current BLS.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registration or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current Radiation Operators Certification with the Kentucky Department of Human Resources
- BLS required.

Description RN-CDU:

Requirements RN-CDU:

The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and clinical support within an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, reconciling medications, collecting patient history, and facilitating patient flow. Additional duties involve managing the electronic health record (EPIC), scheduling appointments, processing medication requests, handling prior authorizations, and coordinating tests and procedures. Upon successful completion of clinical competency, the role may also require performing EKGs, lab tests, injections, and/or
phlebotomy. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure efficient patient care and support for providers. This role requires regular on-site presence to perform the essential job functions.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant training program or a minimum of one year of direct, hands-on patient care in a clinical setting, such as obtaining vital signs, documenting patient history and medications, and performing clinic procedures (e.g. EKGs, phlebotomy, administering injections or vaccines).
Upon hire, all Medical Assistants will undergo a clinical competency assessment and must successfully complete MA orientation. Those who do not meet the required standards will be enrolled in the Medical Assistant (MA) Trainee Program for further development and reevaluation.
Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Requirements:
Current Medical Assistant Certification from AAMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT or AAMP OR active Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.

Description:
Clinical Coordinator role assumes entry-level and clinical leadership and accountability for nursing care team operations while maintaining responsibility defined in the RN job description.
As a coordinator, this role provides ongoing coordination of unit-level activities supporting excellence in professional nurse practice environment, evidence-based care delivery and related nursing, patient, and family-centered outcomes in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team as identified by the director.
Identifies, coordinates, and collaborates for process improvement opportunities at the care team, care center, and organizational levels.
Participates in both clinical and entry level leadership activities to ensure service-oriented, quality, effective, safe continuity of patient care such as unit-based Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QA/PI) initiatives and development of improvement action plan.
Promotes the use of best practice by promoting the use of evidence-based nursing/best practices throughout the unit.
Acts as a consultant in the development and implementation of the efficient and interdisciplinary patient's plan of care.
Supports quality improvement initiatives, under the direction of the unit director while assuring consistent delivery in (including direct observation) standards of practice for optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrates effective communication with patient, family, Physicians, Other staff, and Director.
Maintains clinical competencies and can provide direct nursing care to patients as needed.
Actively participates in nursing research activities within the facility.
Collaborates with Staff and Management to support compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies and the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
3 years of experience.
Active KY Registered Nurse License.
