This position will consist of heavy lifting, pallet building, & order picking.
This role is Monday-Thursday 10am-6:30pm & Friday from 9am-5:30pm onsite at at 7300 W. Detroit St. Chandler, AZ 85226.

This position works in a senior level role in an assigned area of warehouse operations, including stocking, storage rotation, expiration dates, lot number tracking, picking, packing, storage logistics, order filling, shipping, receiving, customer service and computerized item order entry. Provides leadership and training to junior members of the warehouse staff.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. As assigned, receives and checks in delivered goods from vendors and returned products from customers. Verifies orders as accurate and intact, including special orders. Documents and communicates damage, shipping errors, and/or other discrepancies. Must demonstrate correct work procedures for dock safety and truck loading and unloading procedures.
2. Maintains an accurate accounting of goods movement. Inputs receipts, returns and corrections into the Materials Management Information System. Follows standard procedures for all system documentation requirements.
3. As assigned, provides training for new staff members in warehouse work procedures and equipment operation.
4. Stores new stock and assures that all items in assigned areas are stored appropriately. Rotates stock in date order and maintains a clean and orderly storage area.
5. Fills orders accurately and in a timely manner. Records orders filled, notes any out-of-stock items or product substitutions for filled orders.
6. As assigned, assists customers with service and supply needs.
7. As assigned, operates and maintains warehouse equipment such as fork lifts, pallet jacks, lift trucks and cleaning equipment. Must be licensed to operate reach trucks, order pickers, pacers and walkie riders and trained to follow all standard operating procedures related to safe operation of equipment to include tether and belt safety, battery care, and charging.
8. Performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned, including the cleaning of floors, storage areas, equipment and building areas. Notifies supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment or unsafe work areas or tools.
9. Works independently under regular supervision. Follows defined procedures. Determines priorities and makes decisions on variances to best meet customer needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. Requires reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Forklift Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Requires three or more years of demonstrated skill in the use of material handling equipment or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, the ability to read and interpret supply requisitions, product labels and equipment directions. Must have demonstrated effective customer service skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The work requires effective teamworking abilities, and the ability to effectively organize work around multiple priorities. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have an understanding of warehouse and inventory management tasks and the ability to work effectively with a computer based inventory management system. Requires accurate data entry and keyboarding skills.

This position performs all cleaning of patient rooms and/or assigned areas. Works as a member of the environmental service team to ensure the safety, health, and high morale of patients, visitors and staff by helping to provide a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment with minimal interference to others.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs a variety of assigned cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing according to departmental policy and procedures. Must plan the completion of these tasks daily.
2. Empties hampers and transports of soiled linen. Empties trash containers and removes all trash. Empties all medical waste containers, including sharps.
3. Inventories, restocks and replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, etcetera, located in all assigned areas of the facility.
4. Maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment and notifies appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary. Protects equipment from damage by proper use; properly logs out and in equipment that has been used.
5. May perform special projects such as: windows washing, wall washing, removing heavily soiled items or furnishings.
6. Responds to questions and requests from patients, staff and visitors. Meets or exceeds goals for customer service satisfaction.
7. Under regular supervision, this position has responsibility at an assigned facility/area only. Internal customers include facility staff, physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, supervisors, managers, and executives. External customers include visitors, patients, and employees from other company and non-company facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision. Must be able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally. Must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals, and able to fill out chemical identification stickers.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, and BUMG, BUMCT, or BUMCS in a Behavioral Health clinical setting that serves children must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire. Estimated Pay Range:

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing customers and referrals support and information to support orders and request. This position is responsible for accurate and thorough processing of order request through verification while meeting time sensitive expectations.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Handles incoming requests for referrals for new orders and refills. Receives and verifies requests and referrals, initiates insurance verification and gathers all information necessary for pre-certifications, authorizations, and certificates of medical necessity. Provides on-going follow-up of requests up to, and following, patient discharge.
2. Builds equipment order using information in patient medical record to coordinate patient services. Ability to review and offer alternate product support and suggestions to improve patient care and quality outcomes.

4. Performs data entry of patient intake information into computer system and records insurance information and authorization requirements and notes in the computer system.

The Emergency Department at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson campus is an 80 bed unit, seeing approximately 73,000 patients a year. We care for all ages and treat the urgent and emergent medical and behavioral health patients. The ED is a designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, as well as a Comprehensive stroke, cancer and cardiac center. This position independently provides and maintains peripheral and central venous access. This position conducts patient assessments and provides recommendations regarding care, serves as a resource person and specialist and provides assistance with departmental activities, quality improvement and development of best practice guidelines.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Reviews labs, patient history and physician orders to determine appropriate line to be utilized for the procedure and/or identify potential issues that may arise or preclude the patient from being a viable candidate or require alternate form of vascular access. Collaborates with physicians to determine appropriate long-term access needs. Obtains patient’s authorization to perform the procedure. Inserts peripheral venous and/or arterial catheters to provide access or more complex vascular access as indicated.
2. Inserts and maintains peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines according to department policy and procedures to include dressing changes, line reviews and declotting. Utilizes ultrasound technology to ensure accurate insertion of the PICC line. Reviews chest x-rays to ensure accurate placement of the central venous catheter or device. Maintains sterile field throughout the insertion process to ensure quality outcomes. Maintains accurate, timely and appropriate documentation.
3. Inserts and maintains all central lines (simple and complex) in the neck and chest according to department policy and procedures to include dressing changes, line reviews, port access and declotting. Utilizes ultrasound technology, advanced knowledge of anatomy and specialized insertion techniques to ensure accurate and appropriate insertion of the central line. Reviews chest x-rays to ensure accurate placement of the central venous catheter or device. Maintains sterile field throughout the insertion process to ensure quality outcomes. Maintains accurate, timely and appropriate documentation.
4. Participates in ongoing monitoring of quality initiatives, department database, appropriateness and effectiveness of bundle compliance, acts as a change agent and participates in the development, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of quality goals/objective and quality management activities within the clinical service lines. May coordinate oversight of quality and safety standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
5. Acts as a resource to therapists and other healthcare practitioners regarding patient status, equipment and operational issues. Participates in interdisciplinary rounding, making recommendations for changes in therapy dictated by the patient’s condition.
6. Provides training, orientation and patient education to staff, patients and families, in accordance with policy and practice guidelines. Assists in the development of departmental policies and procedures based on best practice.
7. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services. Provides maintenance of associated equipment as demonstrated through observation and documentation.
8. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs a variety of assigned cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing according to departmental policy and procedures. Must plan the completion of these tasks daily.
2. Empties hampers and transports of soiled linen. Empties trash containers and removes all trash. Empties all medical waste containers, including sharps.
3. Inventories, restocks and replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, etcetera, located in all assigned areas of the facility.
4. Maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment and notifies appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary. Protects equipment from damage by proper use; properly logs out and in equipment that has been used.
5. May perform special projects such as: windows washing, wall washing, removing heavily soiled items or furnishings.
6. Responds to questions and requests from patients, staff and visitors. Meets or exceeds goals for customer service satisfaction.
7. Under regular supervision, this position has responsibility at an assigned facility/area only. The Women and Infants Services Department at Banner Ironwood Medical Center focused on providing family centered care. The Women and Infants Services are all in one department specialized for a family-centered healing environment. Level II facility with 24-hour coverage provided by Obstetricians, Certified Nurse Midwives, Neonatologists, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners; in addition to 24 hour in-house coverage by Anesthesia. There is a Certified Lactation Consultant to help support breastfeeding along with the observation of the “Golden Hour” at birth where baby is skin to skin with mom for bonding. This unit serves low to moderate risk patients with private rooms, Labor, delivery, and recovery for vaginal deliveries all in the same LDR room, approximately 90 deliveries per month, two OR suites for scheduled and unscheduled cesarean sections, and additional operative procedures in the immediate postpartum period, room service for meal delivery. We have 8 LDR rooms, each with a special area just for the family support, 2 OR suites, 2 bed PACU, 4 bed triage unit, 6 bed Special Care Nursery, and 23 Postpartum rooms.

Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, database software, and typing ability are required.
Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, and BUMG, BUMCT, or BUMCS in a Behavioral Health clinical setting that serves children must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degreepreferred.
CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) certification, a credential offered by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) certification, a credential offered by the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM)
Knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare systems.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
