About the Role
We’re seeking skilled, compassionate Radiologic Technologists to join our imaging team and help deliver outstanding diagnostic care using leading‑edge technology. At Loyola Medicine, our 8‑hour shifts provide steady, consistent scheduling with a balanced workload — ideal for those who value a predictable routine, strong teamwork, and the ability to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.
What You’ll Need
Experience
- Required: Less than 1 years of relevant Radiologic Technology experience
Education
- Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent training
- Preferred: Degree in Radiologic Technology
Licensure & Certifications
- Required: R.T. (R) (ARRT)
- Illinois IEMA License
- CPR (AHA only)
- Recent Graduates 90 days to obtain certification
- Other: For applicants that are certified by ARRT prior to 2015, no associate degree is required. For applicants certified thereafter or that are not certified, an associate degree is required due to the change in ARRT’s Certification Requirements

Act as a liaison to food service for the patient, family, and staff. Tasks as liaison: explaining the meal selection process; assist menu selection of patients according to prescribed diet order using HealthTouch. To assure patients are fed within 45 minutes of ordering the meal.Major Responsibilities:
1. Communicates on the telephone in an efficient, pleasant, and respectful manner, even during periods of high call volume, to assist patients and guests with their meal service selections. At peak time, a call center operator answers the phone and immediately enters a complete order into the HealthTouch system. A call center operator’s average call time will range between 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
2. Reviews therapeutic diet orders and modify the patient’s order to meet the diet order parameters while attempting to honor the patient’s request and be aesthetically pleasing. This includes nourishments, supplements, and tube feeding.
3. Speaks with the patient, family member(s) or nurse to explain needed modifications regarding meal orders. To communicate changes and if possible, find a satisfactory substitution. To ensure a nutritionally balanced meal that meets the dietary restrictions of the patient’s diet order.
4. Communicate on the phone to patients, staff, and guests according to department scripting policy and procedures.
5. Communicates patient diet order issues to the Supervisor or clinical dietitian when policy mandates.

Preferred:
1. Previous related experience to be familiar with basic nutrition and food service operations, functions, and procedures.

1. Plans catered events including planning the menu (including proper color, nutritionally balanced, complimentary foods, eye appeal and texture variation), ordering food needed, preparing the food, setting up in an attractive and organized manner, cleaning up of the event and providing information needed for billing.Uses creativity and knowledge to provide variety in menus for catered events.
2. Utilizes down time to meet departmental needs (serves in cafeteria, assists chefs, food prep cook, baker or salad worker, etc.)
3. Provides weekly food order for the following week. Submits information for billing of events by the end of each week.
4. Tracks catering equipment used for each event and assures it is returned to storage.
5. Works with Director and manager to formulate menus and recipes for catering functions as needed.
6. Serves food according to established portions.
7. Follows standardized recipes to assure consistency of product.
8. Provides sanitary conditions as outlined in the department Infection Control Policy. Fulfills daily/weekly cleaning duties.
9. Demonstrates proper handling and operation of equipment.
10. Adheres to Food Service Policy on handling potentially hazardous food. Follows proper food storage policies.
11. Uses and handles chemicals according to present vendor guidelines.Never mixes chemicals.Labels spray bottles with proper label.

Join Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and Sentara Health in making a significant impact in the field of neurology at the Lawrence J. Goldrich Institute for Integrated Neuro-Health. This full-time, outpatient-only position within the Sentara Medical Group (SMG) Division of Neurology is for a Fellowship-Trained Movement Disorders Neurologist. Candidates will obtain an EVMS faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology, providing opportunities for academic growth, resident education, and research.
This unique position will build upon Sentara's well-established Comprehensive Movement Disorders Program, which currently includes an experienced Movement Disorders Neurologist, two highly experienced Movement Disorders Physician Assistants, and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the care of patients with Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington's disease, and other movement disorders.
The program works closely with an established Functional Neurosurgery program offering Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and MR-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS), providing patients with state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment options. Candidates will benefit from a strong referral base, comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy support, and an established pipeline of patients throughout the region.
This exciting joint opportunity offers the best of both worlds by combining a private practice model with academic opportunity. The successful candidate will be employed by SMG and receive SMG physician compensation and benefits while also holding an EVMS faculty appointment with rank commensurate with experience. Additional opportunities exist for teaching within the EVMS Neurology Residency Program, which currently includes four residents per year, as well as participation in clinical research and program development.

Outpatient-only with no night or weekend call.
Supports the existing SMG program that includes comprehensive clinics for Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease patients, as well as a busy Botox clinic for dystonia.

This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a rehabilitation department(s)/area in the achievement of balanced initiatives and delivery of excellent patient care. This includes accountability for planning, directing, and monitoring operational, programmatic and patient outcomes. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluations, recruitment, retention and disciplinary actions as needed with consultation from the Director as needed. Incumbent will be responsible for developing the budget while executing financial acumen and problem solving/plan of actions relating to that budget. Outstanding communication, problem solving, change management and relationship skills are required to influence employee engagement, resource utilization and patients and physician satisfaction. Incumbent must inspire employees to achieve personal and professional goals and objectives. The position is responsible for role modeling service excellence in all interactions and leading a culture of recognition and celebration.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides leadership and direction to the rehabilitation staff to continuously improve clinical, financial and service outcomes. Develops performance goals and objectives for the department consistent with those of the facility and the organization’s overall strategic plan. Monitors and analyzes the results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Assures the successful achievement of balanced initiatives by effectively "connecting the dots" and promoting staff participation and shared leadership involvement. Utilizes data to support process improvement initiatives.
2. Oversees and Manages the daily operations of the department. Participates in developing, monitoring and revising department policies and procedures consistent with current standards of practice. Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, revising program specific guidelines essential to the achievement of department initiatives. Assesses and maintains a staffing plan that efficiently and effectively utilizes the appropriate resources ensuring competency, skill mix and adequate number of staff. Responsible for promoting staff participation in Gallup Q12 and achieving department impact goals.
3. Recruits and selects "best fit" competent, talented and self-directed employees. Ensures thorough orientation and training of all clinical and non-clinical staff in assigned work areas. Utilizes performance recognition program to coach employees on accountability, performance and service standards. Provides timely and meaningful performance assessments and co-created action plans that promote personal and professional development.
4. Facilitates and provides patient centered interdisciplinary care. Ensures clinical and age specific competency of staff. Promotes clinical excellence by monitoring objectives and outcomes of preceptor program. Maintains own clinical awareness and competencies as required by the department in order to assure competency of staff and mentor staff to improve clinical performance and problem-solving skills.
5. Investigates and initiates the resolution of patient and /or physician complaints. Responsible for patient rounding and data collection to enhance patient satisfaction. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational, Physical, Audiology or Speech Language Pathology
Must a hold a current license or certification in their respective discipline. BLS certification required.
Must have a working knowledge of hospital operations, medical/nursing staff procedures, hospital and community resources as typically achieved through three years of technical experience and two years of managerial experience. Job Summary
The Texas Medical Center is seeking an experienced Transplant Coordinator – Pre-Liver to join a dedicated, collaborative team. This role manages candidate evaluations, listing, and care coordination for patients awaiting liver transplantation, working within a balanced team structure and an manageable patient volume.
Role Overview
• Team Structure: 3 Pre-Liver Coordinators, 3 Post-Liver Coordinators
• Patient Load: Low Nurse-to-Patient ratio of 10-15 patients per coordinator
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-call duties begin after a 6–8 month orientation period)
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee comprehensive pre-liver transplant clinical evaluations, patient education, and UNOS listing processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient tracking, precise documentation, and seamless navigation.
• Drive proactive care management by taking initiative to support team workflow and patient progress.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Direct experience as a Transplant Coordinator across solid organ specialties (Liver, Heart, Lung, or Kidney) is preferred.
• Transferable Experience: Strong background as a Liver Transplant ICU Registered Nurse is accepted (2+ years)
• Core Competencies: Exceptional communication skills, high clinical adaptability/flexibility, and a strong drive to initiate support across the team.

Principal Accountabilities

Directs and provides guidance to staff, case managers, and physicians, ensuring patient care delivery to established standards of practice.Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads recruitment, onboarding, and training of scheduling and records staff. Collaborates with the Quality and Training team and other stakeholders to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills. POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of the Lab Assistant I position is to support a variety of laboratory departments by assisting technical staff in the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of laboratory tests necessary for patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires the skills needed to ensure specimens, patient information, and testing workflows are handled accurately and efficiently. By contributing to reliable test processes and smooth laboratory operations, this position helps maintain timely turnaround, data integrity, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health and MercyOne Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Accepts specimens and requisitions from internal and external customers and manages add‑on orders and pending lists in accordance with laboratory procedures.
- Identifies patients and specimens using two unique patient identifiers and accurately labels specimen containers to ensure correct identification.
- Registers and logs specimens in the Laboratory Information System (LIS), evaluates specimen adequacy and acceptability, and scans required documentation into the patient record.
- Performs specimen processing such as proper identification, aliquoting, plate streaking, slide preparation, special handling, and required documentation in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Assists in resolving problematic patient specimens and test orders in collaboration with laboratory staff and clients.
- Follows safety, infection control, and chemical‑handling procedures and supports efficient workflow practices that promote accurate testing, timely turnaround, and productivity expectations.
- Operates laboratory information systems proficiently to support accurate data entry and workflow management.
- Contributes to general laboratory operations by restocking supplies, participating in peer teaching, and engaging in department or hospital committees and projects as assigned.
- Other duties as needed and assigned by laboratory leadership.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other Trinity Health and
- MercyOne policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Dependent on Department Assignment
- Performs venipunctures, finger sticks, and heel sticks appropriate to patient age (neonates through geriatric adults) and ensures proper specimen collection according to laboratory policy.
- May drive to patient service centers or care centers to perform phlebotomy services as needed.
- Performs limited testing under the supervision of technical staff.
- Performs instrument maintenance, quality control, and calibrations according to established protocols.
- Assists in the gross room as assigned.
- Prepares the area for and assists pathologists with frozen section testing.
- Performs distribution and filing of slides and blocks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-High school diploma or GED required.
-If applicable to department assignment, must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated and be eligible to drive under Iowa state law.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Meet MercyOne’s Quality and Authorized Drivers requirements.
-Completion of the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Reporter training specific to the population served within three (3) months of hire. Colleagues employed and working solely in facilities located in Illinois are exempt from this requirement in accordance with applicable state requirements.
-Laboratory experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
-Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
-Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful, with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.
- Must possess the ability to comply with MercyOne and Trinity Health policies and procedures.
- Work requires frequent movement within the laboratory and hospital, including reaching, grasping, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and performing repetitive motions associated with specimen collection, handling, and processing. Tasks also involve applying and removing labels, using a computer keyboard, retrieving supplies, and transporting specimens.
- Responsibilities may involve handling and lifting materials or supplies generally up to 10 pounds, with occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds when moving objects. When a patient or object cannot be moved safely, mechanical assistance devices or additional personnel must be used.
- Visual acuity is required to read handwritten and electronic documentation, inspect specimens, interpret color‑dependent indicators, and safely use laboratory equipment, including sharps, analyzers, and computer systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively to provide instructions, relay information, and interact with coworkers, patients, and clinical staff, using verbal, auditory, or other communication methods as appropriate.
- Duties require routine use of computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, and standard laboratory equipment, as well as occasional handling of office supplies or stored materials.
- Work is performed primarily in a hospital‑based or clinic laboratory setting with typical indoor environmental conditions, including moderate noise levels generated by equipment and normal clinical activity.
- Work may involve exposure to chemical hazards, blood and body fluids, and other potentially infectious materials. The role is included in the OSHA Exposure Control Plan and requires adherence to protective measures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
