Position Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while adhering to established protocols, policies and regulatory standards. The MRI technologist will work under the direction of a radiologist, their unit manager and director. The MRI technologist role requires independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply their skills to provide quality care to patients.

Qualifications
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
Maintain current certifications as required.
Comprehensive knowledge of level II MRI safety.
Ability to operate equipment within the department.
Medical Imaging experience preferred.
Obtain and maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support(BLS) utilizing Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) is required.
Skills

Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Identify each patient and review physician orders for accuracy.
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Administer contrast agents as required, following safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Review each examination for quality.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of MRI equipment, report malfunctions promptly.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal patient care.
Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with technological advancements.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stock supplies.
Adhere to Aultman policies and procedures.
Working Conditions
Hours may vary as required by job. Weekends and holidays, off shift and on call duties.
Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
Lunch periods and breaks are coordinated with other staff members to maintain adequate coverage.
Cross training in areas of the department as required.
Colleagues may be assigned to different locations within the foundation.

Position Summary
A Radiologic Technologist will act under the direction of the Radiologist and Imaging Technical Specialist/Director, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply the prescribed diagnostic imaging equipment for production of high-quality images. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for their exam, proper positioning of the patient, and correctly operating equipment. The Radiologic Technologist will also promote Aultman Health Systems mission statement, while adhering to system and regulatory requirements.

The department provides diagnostic x-ray imaging services within the health care facility to patients in need.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program or equivalent.
ODH license
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Prior experience with Ionizing Radiation generating diagnostic imaging equipment, preferred.
General x-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, O-arm, Portables, Dental Etc. As of note, GXMO can only perform General X-Ray, not fluoro, portables, or OR.
Obtain and maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support (BLS) utilizing Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) is required
