*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN contracted basis for home health services. The successful candidate will support occupational therapy programs by providing patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring accurate care documentation. This role involves working directly with clients in their home environments, assisting with therapy activities, and promoting patient independence and well-being.

*Responsibilities*

* Deliver occupational therapy services to clients in their home settings, following prescribed treatment plans.
* Assist patients with therapeutic activities aimed at improving their daily living skills and functional abilities.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, progress, and concerns.
* Collaborate closely with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Support client safety and comfort during therapy sessions while maintaining professional standards of care.
* Manage care documentation efficiently to ensure seamless communication among the healthcare team.
* Provide services on a PRN basis, utilizing contracted rates per visit along with mileage reimbursement for travel.

*Experience*

* Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
* Prior experience in occupational therapy, particularly within home health settings, is preferred.
* Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining adherence to treatment protocols and documentation standards.
* Experience in patient care activities related to occupational therapy is highly desirable.
