QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Minimum: Accredited Master's level program in clinical social work, counseling or psychology.
Credentials/Licensure
Minimum: Limited Licensed by the Michigan Board of Social Work as a Limited Licensed Master’s Social Worker with clinical
designation or Licensed Professional Counselor or Limited Licensed Psychologist.
Preferred: Fully Licensed by the Michigan Board of Social Work as a Licensed Mater’s Social Worker with clinical designation or
fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or or Limited Licensed Psychologist and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug
Counselor certification.
Related Experience
Minimum: Two years of experience in health care social work and/or counseling/psychotherapy.
Preferred: Two years of experience in health care social work and/or counseling/psychotherapy in an ambulatory setting.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum: Interpersonal skills necessary to provide counseling and interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. Use of
evidence-based clinical interventions at the individual, family, and group levels. Analytic skills to assess client needs, develop
treatment plans, and provide sound advice and guidance. Knowledge of and ability to work with a broad range of cultural diversity.
Effective psychotherapy skills; strong report writing/documentation skills; ability to manage a variety of tasks and problems at the
same time; high level of initiative and ability to self-direct to solve problems; ability to work collaboratively with peers in a similar
role.
Position may require bilingual Spanish ability.
Preferred: Strong knowledge of community resources for patients and their families
Computer Competency
Familiarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.
Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.
Physical/Mental
Minimum: Ability to work with a high level of activity, distractions, and numerous interruptions. Multiple assignments often need to
be prioritized daily. Sitting for long periods of time. Ability to walk requests/reports around to other locations in or near the hospital
complex. Some travel required for work-related meetings. Ability to bend, stoop and reach above head, lift, and carry. Requires fine
motor skills. Extensive use of keyboard, repetitive tasks of typing and phone use. Long periods of listening to phone calls. Ability to

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our integrated care team. This role is embedded within primary care and specialty settings to deliver high-quality behavioral health services that support patients and their families in managing mental health conditions and related psychosocial concerns.
The Behavioral Health Specialist provides assessment, diagnosis support, brief therapeutic interventions, crisis response, care coordination, and consultation services. This role collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve access to comprehensive, continuous, and person-centered care.
All services are delivered in alignment with the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Key Responsibilities: Therapy for all age ranges
Assessment & Treatment Planning
- Conduct screenings, intake assessments, and review of electronic health records (EHR).
- Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to diagnostic formulation using DSM-5 criteria.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based care plans in collaboration with clients.
- Establish measurable goals and appropriate interventions aligned with client needs.
Intervention & Care Delivery
- Provide short-term psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
- Deliver crisis intervention, triage, and behavioral care management services.
- Promote a recovery-oriented, client-centered approach to care.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR in accordance with clinical and billing standards.
- Coordinate services with community providers and support systems to ensure continuity of care.
Collaboration & Evaluation
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated delivery of services.
- Communicate patient progress, recommendations, and care updates through EHR and team discussions.
- Provide consultation and behavioral health guidance to providers and staff.
Administrative & Professional Responsibilities
- Utilize EHRs, registries, and care tools for documentation, communication, and performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain licensure and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, committees, and organizational initiatives.
- Support research, quality improvement, and training initiatives as applicable.
- Provide supervision to interns as assigned and perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from an accredited program.
Licensure & Certifications
- Required: Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) with clinical designation (Michigan).
- Preferred: Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC)
Experience
- Required: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare social work and/or counseling/psychotherapy.
- Preferred: Experience in an ambulatory or integrated care setting.

EDUCATION
- PHARMD-Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, generic and trade pharmaceutical names, pharmaceutical calculations and laws and regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of different Pharmacy practice settings, including narcotic delivery and procedures.
- Knowledge and ability to identify and employ pharmaceutical and medical terms, abbreviations and symbols commonly used in prescribing, dispensing, and record keeping of medications.
- Requires a basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards including National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), The Joint Commission (TJC), Title XXII, United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
- Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Looking for a flexible and fast-paced clinician with Acute Therapy background (preferred), who has true per diem availability. This role will provide coverage to both Auburn and Covington Medical Center locations. Employee should have EPIC experience and be able to work a minimum of 4 dates per month, to include potential weekend rotation. Should a shift not be able to be worked, alternative dates must be provided (in collaboration with Leadership). PRN staff are expected to work a minimum of 1 holiday per year and maintain all annual education requirements, on shift (if census allows) or on an additionally scheduled date.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or New Hampshire, as appropriate. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred, and candidates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within 4 years. Completion of the Oncology Nurse Residency Program (ONRP) or 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse. Ambulatory and/or oncology experience preferred. Professional nursing certification (e.g., OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC) is preferred, and AHA BLS certification is required (AHA ACLS is acceptable as a minimum requirement).

The NICU provides level III care to infants as early as 26 weeks gestation. NICU is comprised of 12, all private rooms, with the ability to hold up to 18 patients. Join a Specialized Neuro-Rehabilitation Team
Vanderbilt Health's Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute (PBPRI) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our nationally recognized outpatient neuro-rehabilitation program.
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly specialized interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping adults maximize independence, function, participation, and quality of life following neurologic injury or disease. More than 80% of the caseload is focused on adult neurorehabilitation, with opportunities to develop expertise in cognitive rehabilitation, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, vision rehabilitation, seating and mobility, and driving rehabilitation.
About the Role
As part of Vanderbilt's collaborative outpatient neuro-rehabilitation team, you will evaluate and treat adults with a variety of neurologic conditions, including:
- Stroke
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Parkinson's Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Concussion
- Complex neurologic disorders requiring comprehensive rehabilitation
- Driving rehabilitation evaluations and services (based on experience and training)
Working closely with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and caregivers, you will play a vital role in helping patients return to meaningful activities at home, in the community, at work, and in leisure pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat adults with neurologic diagnoses in an outpatient setting.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence, safety, participation, and quality of life.
- Deliver evidence-based neurorehabilitation interventions addressing upper extremity recovery, motor control, coordination, and functional performance.
- Assess and treat cognitive and executive functioning deficits affecting daily life, work, and community participation.
- Evaluate and train activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnosis, prognosis, adaptive strategies, home programs, and community resources.
- Complete timely clinical documentation, evaluations, progress reports, and payer-required documentation.
- Participate in specialty programs including cognitive rehabilitation, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, vision rehabilitation, seating and mobility services, and driving rehabilitation based on experience and clinical interests.
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.
