Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Education Required:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing.
Experience Required:
- No experience required.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, medications).
- Performs laboratory procedures (i.e. strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.) using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions / infection control guidelines.
- Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc.
- Administers medications, under physician/provider orders, including: immunizations, antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins, topical agents, and insulin. With limitations, initiates, maintains and discontinues IV therapy; administering selected fluids with pre-mixed medications.
- Provides basic patient education on the performance of tasks, skills, treatment and self-care.
- Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests, prescription refills, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services.
- Refers questions to registered nurses and physicians/providers per scope of practice guidelines and relays information back to patient as directed.
- Communicates with physicians and other members of the health care team. Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient conditions.
- Performs advanced clinical tasks or skills such as removal of sutures and staples, catheterization, audiograms, laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture, drug screen, phlebotomy - butterfly, venous access, heel stick), EKG, spirometry, Holter monitor application, casting, complex wound care, etc., with demonstrated competency and under clinical supervision.
- Organizes and prepares exam rooms, lab and work areas including: cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
- Completes routine maintenance and quality monitoring of clinic equipment using appropriate technique when cleaning, sterilizing and caring for instruments and other equipment.
- Participates in patient centered initiatives, care management, performance and quality improvement activities.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and physicians.
- Excellent organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, and use of electronic mail with exposure to electronic medical records systems.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs over the head.
- Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
- Must be able to perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with a second person present.
- Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids.
- Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.
- Operates all equipment essential to perform the job.

Position Summary:
The pharmacist-specialty is a hybrid clinical pharmacist and sterile compounding lead position. The pharmacist – specialty must:
- Be proficient in accurately verifying medication orders and dispensing medications
- Assures safe, effective, and economical use of medications
- Reviews and evaluates medication orders
- Monitors patient medication therapy
- Effectively and appropriately communicates with providers
- Safe storage, preparation, dispensing of medications
- Provides medication counseling for patients and drug information for providers
- Participates in medication event reporting
- Offers leadership to pharmacy technicians and precepts students and/or residents (at least 1 annually) and new hires
- Facilitate inventory control
- Offers drug information support to pharmacy staff
- Consistently supports daily pharmacy workflow by answering operational questions
- Covering on call when necessary
- Be proficient in the following clinical pharmacy services
- Consult services including medication reconciliation
- Renal dose adjustment and vancomycin monitoring
- Active participation in interdisciplinary rounds
- Contributes to development or review of clinical or operational policies as assigned
- Active participation in local or regional multidisciplinary or pharmacy specific committee or workgroup

Pay Range: $56.00 - $72.30
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Major Responsibilities:
- Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute, critical and chronic patients illness and diseases within both an outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting.
- Obtains medical histories, conducts physical examinations and assesses and determines differential diagnosis. Prescribes medication, therapy and treatments accordingly.
- Interprets and evaluates patient data for the purpose of determining management and treatment of patients. Performs minor surgeries and routine procedures. Consults with physician as appropriate. Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies in the field of clinical specialty trained and determined competent by a physician.
- Adjusts patient care plan by reviewing and monitoring treatments and therapy plans. - Provides care coordination, which includes managing a variety of ancillary services, pre-operative plans, discharge planning, provider referrals and medical devices such as insulin pumps, defibrillators, and pacemakers.
- Prescribes, recommends and regulates pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies across multiple care settings, including controlled medications that are warranted by patient's diagnosis or changing medical condition.

The Mattei Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU (CTICU) provides inpatient care to adult and geriatric patients on a 24-hour basis. Common diagnoses for these patients include, but not limited to: CABG, minimally Invasive CABG, valve repair/replacement, orthotopic heart transplant, ventricular assist device (VAD) placement, aortic aneurysm repair, congenital heart defect repair, and thoracotomy. Care is provided to listed population during the acute intensive care phase immediately following surgery.
CTICU utilizes the following diagnostic and therapeutic services to facilitate patient care: nursing assessments and evaluation, administration of prescribed medications, EKG/hemodynamic monitoring, intravenous therapy (including titration of vasoactive and inotropic drips), maintenance of IABP, right and left VADs including impellers and ECMO, fluid and electrolyte balance, CRRT, ventilator support, respiratory care, safety management, nutritional support, family and patient education, infection control, skin care, standard precautions, point of care testing, and discharge planning.

POSITION SUMMARY

Job Duties:
Coordinates and supervises the delivery of nursing care and activities on assigned unit. Assists in developing, initiating, and supporting improvements, on the unit level, that facilitate the delivery of high quality, safe and cost-effective patient care. Responsible for ensuring that the highest level of care is provided, optimizing all customer interactions, to maximize patient satisfaction.
- Provides direct patient care along with providing direct supervision to assigned personnel, assists with orientation and integration of new employees.

Floyd Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Manager to lead key service areas, including the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Assessment Department (ER & Onsite), and Inpatient Therapy team. This role is responsible for providing operational oversight, clinical leadership, and program coordination across multiple levels of behavioral health care. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and operational knowledge in behavioral health settings. Success in this role also requires effective communication skills, relationship management, and the flexibility to oversee multiple programs and locations.
Major Responsibilities:
- Plans and monitors the needs of the program. Assesses program development needs and financial viability of the program in collaboration with the director.
- Develops treatment protocols and designs and executes outcome studies regarding treatment effectiveness, to determine further enhancements/modifications for increased efficiency and productivity. Revises program curriculum and design as necessary.

The Medical Progressive Care Department (PCU) at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix is a department with heart, and all about the heart! On this unit we provide comprehensive cardiac care to a complex patient population. Our team cares for a wide variety of patients such as vascular, cardio-thoracic surgical and heart failure, and offers treatment modalities such as left ventricular assist device (LVAD), leach therapy and ultrafiltration (used for HF patients no longer responding to diuretics).
As a Patient Care Assistant on our team, you will be involved first-hand in providing care that improves patient outcomes and an excellent patient experience while also having the opportunity for greater learning about the heart and all its complexities.
This position is a full time NIGHT shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00am - 7:30pm. We use a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable.

This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides assistance in activities of daily living and completes necessary tasks to promote patient health, including assisting patients with basic hygiene needs, maintaining an optimum level of mobility and providing assistance with nutritional intake as needed.
2. Collects patient specimens and data, including vital signs, input/output and other delegated measurements in accordance with unit/facility policy and standards of care. Documents objective data and routine aspects of patient care. Assists in the transportation of patient specimens.
3. Recognizes and reports abnormalities and/or changes in the patient’s health status and responses to treatment to a licensed professional. Promotes continuity of care by accurately and completely communicating to other caregivers the status of patients for which care is provided.
4. Performs procedures and uses equipment as delegated by a licensed professional, consistent with demonstrated competencies and according to state scope of practice; procedures may include blood draws, foley catheters removal, EKGs, and EKG monitoring. Provides necessary supplies, support and assistance to medical staff and patients for unit specific procedures, under the direct supervision of a licensed professional.
5. Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support overall operating efficiency and effective flow of communication and information throughout the department. Participates in the resolution of customer problems or collects necessary data and follows through to appropriate person for problem resolution.
6. Maintains a complete patient record with admission, transfer, and discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms. Ensures that all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient’s record. Ensures that charting forms are labeled and accessible if they are needed. Maintains adequate supplies of frequently used, patient education materials. Assists in the ordering of patient specimens. May transcribe and process physician orders effectively using the electronic medical record.
7. Maintains adequate levels of office, dietary, and medical supplies and completes requisition forms when supplies need to be ordered. Reconciles supply order upon delivery. Monitors and tracks the use and whereabouts of electronic equipment such as patient ID scanners and lap top computers. Ensures that all are accounted for and in working order.
8. Based on area of assignment may assist with transporting patients, including pre-operative and immediate post-operative patients to critical care unit. Participates in OR room turnover.

Pay Range is $82.78 to $115.89 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. The Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician – EIBI, under the direction and supervision of the treatment team, provides direct therapeutic contact to patients through the implementation of behavior implementation plans and skill building curriculum designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Profile:
- Applied Behavior Analysis skills.Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Conduct direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors.
- Clinical Duties.Provide support in various settings, such as homes, schools, or community locations, to address diverse behavioral challenges. Document and maintain accurate records of client sessions, behavior plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including BCBAs, parents, and other professionals, to ensure a comprehensive and consistent approach to treatments. Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in applied behavior analysis. Collect and analyze data on client progress, seeking guidance for adjustments from BCBA as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 60 days of hire.
- Completed a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate RBT job essentials
- Experience working with autism and related disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans accurately and adapt interventions based on individual client needs.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Physical ability to engage in activities with clients and work in various environments.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 1 year experience implementing ABA procedures for severe problem behavior
- Post-secondary coursework in psychology, education, or related fields.
- Training in discrete-trial teaching and naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention (NDBI)
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, labels, monitors, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
