Position Summary:
Follows established protocols and guidelines while performing a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy. Responsible for the production of high-quality diagnostic images needed to provide physicians with clinical data to aid in establishing a diagnosis. Explains patient preparation, patient scheduling, procedure instructions and process to patients. Communicates and works with Radiologists and physicians in a manner that improves patient care.
What you will do:
- Performs Radiologic procedures and operates all machines in a safe and proper manner.
- Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures.
- Articulates exam results, as directed by Radiologist, to Physicians, RNs, and patients.
- Assesses and monitors patient condition during procedures.
- Performs clerical and support functions associated with x-ray process.
- Organizes and prioritizes work to meet customer needs.
- Helps to maintain adequate supply inventory.
What you will need:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within three months of hire. Must maintain registry status in compliance with the CE requirements of their certifying organization for the imaging modality in which they perform services.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Certification or re-certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.
- Preferred: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Preferred: One or more years of radiology experience.
- Preferred: Experience working with Meditech, Epic, and Sectra systems

GENERAL SUMMARY:
A Respiratory Therapist performs patient assessment, evaluation for appropriate therapy, administration of therapy, consultation with other health care providers, diagnostic testing, implementation and troubleshooting of equipment and monitoring of patient. These services are provided as appropriate for patient age to include neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric adult.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs inhaled medication therapy, arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, helium-oxygen therapy, carbon dioxide-oxygen therapy, nitric oxide-oxygen therapy, CPAP therapy, BIPAP therapy, bland aerosol therapy, PEP therapy, high-frequency oscillator therapy, and ventilatory support modalities as ordered by physician.
- Participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, assists or performs intubation, manages artificial airway, and transport of patients requiring ventilatory support.
- Assembles, manipulates, and troubleshoots Respiratory Care equipment including mechanical ventilators, pulse oximeters, capnometers, aerosol generators, medical gas delivery systems, humidification systems, and mechanical percussors.
- Interprets diagnostic results for feasibility and reports results, to include blood or other body fluid analysis by blood gas analyzer and co-oximeter, pulmonary function screening, pulmonary mechanics studies, end-tidal C02, and pulse oximetry.
- Performs record keeping, billing and medical record documentation functions.
- Provides patient instruction in the use of Respiratory Care devices and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Respiratory Care Program by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP).
- Credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- State of Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

Hospice RNs position summary
Our Hospice RNs provides professional nursing care to the organization’s hospice clients as prescribed by the physician, and/or requested by the client/family, and in compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, and the organization’s policies and procedures. The RN is fully responsible for the client assessment, care planning, therapeutic intervention, and overall supervision of client care and outcomes, is designated as the case manager for hospice patients. The Hospice RN in collaboration with the physician and other Hospice team members anticipates and manages patient’s symptoms, assists in identifying pt/family/caregiver grief/loss issues and assists in implementing the Hospice plan of care. Provides functional support to Hospice Aides and LPN/LVNs as needed.

Minimum qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a professional acute care nurse.

Position Purpose:
The Rehabilitation Tech is responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, obtainment of supplies, transporting, positioning and in assisting patients/clients, therapists and therapist assistants in the completion of the therapy treatment plan. Coordinate the patient's care to increase the efficiency and quality of care that is delivered to the patient. Follows established protocols and guidelines while performing a wide variety of diagnostic Mammography procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy. Responsible for the production of high quality diagnostic images needed to provide physicians with clinical data to aid in establishing a diagnosis. Explains patient preparation, patient scheduling, procedure instructions and process to patients. Communicates and works with Radiologists and physicians in a manner that improves patient care.
What the Mammography Technologist will do:
- Performs Mammography procedures and operate all machines in a safe and proper manner.
- Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures.
- Articulates exam results, as directed by Radiologist, to Physicians, RNs, and patients.
- Assesses and monitors patient condition during procedures.
- Performs clerical and support functions associated with Mammography process.
- Organizes and prioritizes work to meet customer needs.
- Helps other colleagues (when appropriate) to ensure short patient wait times.
- Demonstrates good customer service skills, finds ways to better serve customer.
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills, to patients, clients, hospital staff, and all radiology staff.
- Helps to maintain adequate supply inventory.
What the Mammography Technologist will need:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Certification or re-certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, RT(R), and must have current registration in Mammography, RT(M),. Must maintain registry status in compliance with the CE requirements of their certifying organization for the imaging modality in which they perform services.
- One or more years of XR experience
- Preferred: One or more years of Mammography experience
- Preferred: Experience working with Meditech, Epic, and Sectra systems

An Operating Room Registered Nurse at MercyOne provides perioperative patient care, specifically in the intraoperative phase, in both the scrub and circulating roles according to established guidelines. Serves the population from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Essential Functions:
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health and MercyOne Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Scrubs and circulates on cases independently, with minimal direction.
- Prepares for surgical cases in an efficient manner, anticipating needs of patient, surgeon, anesthesia and other O.R. team members.
- Provides a safe environment for patient and staff by implementing standards of aseptic technique and by controlling the physical and psychological aspects of that environment.
- Collects and analyzes data and assesses patient in developing nursing diagnosis.
- Communicates effectively with the patient, staff, physicians, and families.
- Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up and function.
- Initiates and directs room clean up and turnover.
- Participates in orientation and training of new personnel.
- Assists in maintenance of physician's preference cards and other O.R. resource material.
- Utilizes computer in surgical documentation, disposition of specimens and obtaining pertinent information.
- Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities as appropriate.
- Attends department meetings and in-services.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Schedule:
- PRN - minimum requirement of 24 hours per month.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Illinois RN license
- Operating Room experience preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Responsibilities)
Client Care & Support
- Follow the care plan created by the RN
- Share any changes in the client’s condition right away

- Assist with light household tasks: meal prep, feeding, laundry, linens, and light housekeeping
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when ordered
- Support simple therapy-directed activities like range-of-motion exercises
- Assist (but never administer) clients with self‑medication, following RN guidance
- Help clients safely use home equipment like wheelchairs or side rails
- Perform basic care tasks such as changing ostomy appliances or external catheter care (as assigned)
Communication & Documentation
- Document your visit clearly and accurately the same day
- Work with scheduling to keep your client assignments up to date
- Attend case conferences when appropriate
- Maintain clear, respectful communication with clients, families, and the care team
Professional Growth

- Stay aligned with agency policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines
Physical & Work Requirements
- Frequent standing, lifting, and walking
