We are seeking FULLY licensed Psychologists who specializes, or have interest in, long term, geriatric behavioral health.
*Locations*: Lapeer, MI
*Full-Time, Part-Time or Contractual*
*We offer the Clinical Psychologist:*
* Week day, DAY time position: M-F
* Flexible hours and autonomy
* More 1:1 time with your patients
* Dedicated Practice Manager
* Interdisciplinary team approach
* State of the art clinical systems
* No evenings, weekends or on-call
* Paid malpractice with competitive salary
*Responsibilities include:*
* Provide direct psychological services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of geriatric patients at various facilities.
* Does include psychological therapy.
* See 10 - 15 patients per full service day.
* Neuro-psychological and Psychological testing – administration, scoring and report writing.
* Collaboration with multiple disciplines and assure continuity of care.
* Knowledge of Medicare standards and documentation.
*Qualifications of the Psychologist:*
* Psy.D./Ph.D. from an accredited University plus experience.
* Must have Valid FULL state license. Medicare approved status.
* Demonstrated skills in communication with patients, families and staff.

Bright Mosaic provides a comprehensive blend of ABA, speech, and OT for children with Autism.
A large, beautiful space in Sherman, TX located offices will be provided (please email for office pictures or view our website), but the Clinical Director can conduct 20% of working hours remotely from home. Flexible schedule options as well such as 4 day work week.
The Clinical Director role is provided with an abundance of Administrative and IT support. This allows the Clinical Director to remain clinically focused and maximize use of their valuable expertise.
Bright Mosaic structures caseloads and billable hours to be manageable. Typical range of billable per hours per week expectation for a full caseload is 24 to 29 hours per week.
Most clients will be in clinic or hybrid of in home and in clinic.
Experience with Google Drive is preferred, but not required.
Role Description:
* Collaborate with other BCBAs for feedback and professional development on a regular basis.
* Collaborate with Admin on clinical policies, procedures and quality oversight.
* Conducting initial and re-authorization client assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS, etc.)
* Designing, implementing, and monitoring behavior analysis programs
* In-person and remote supervision
* Training and performance management of behavior technicians
* Working with client family members and building rapport
* Co developing general therapy activities
* NOT responsible for billing or scheduling. We believe Clinical Directors should have the opportunity to work within their field of expertise and to be able to remain clinically focused. Therefore we have offset these tasks to Administrative staff.
* Other activities normally performed by a Clinical Director that are directly related to behavior analysis and program implementation

A. POSITION SUMMARY
This individual is principally responsible for intervening on behalf of children, adolescents, and adults of the Desert Sage Health Centers. (DSHC) patient mix, who have suffered neglect, physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse, or suffer from emotional disturbances or mental illness. The Licensed Mental Health Provider is responsible for assessing, and if appropriate, treating and connecting these individuals in need of services to appropriate DSHC departments, programs, and/or to other agencies and sources around the community which could meet the individual needs of the identified client.

C. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct a psychosocial assessment of the client and determine if the client meets criteria for Behavioral Health services.
2. Responsible for learning and implementing the DSHC electronic medical records (EMR) system following heath center policies.
3. Diagnose client using DSM-VTR criteria, and if appropriate, psychometric tools and records.
4. Develop a treatment plan that identifies both short and long term need of the client.
5. Provide individual, couple, family, and group treatment services, when appropriate.
6. Develop and implement group counseling/interactive sessions, as appropriate.
7. Conduct crisis intervention and coordinate follow up care, including hospitalization referral, if needed.
8. Triage with nurse and providers in coordinating patient care.
9. Serve as a consultant to clinicians though Behavioral Health integration.
10. Advocate for the client or family in obtaining needed services from appropriate agencies.
11. Make appropriate client referral to community agencies. Coordinate the delivery of these services, assess client progress and evaluate outcomes, as appropriate.
12. Network with community service providers to help assure the availability of services.
13. Awareness/acceptance of cultural competency aspects and sensitivity.
14. Maintain appropriate records, execute proper forms, and protect client confidentiality.
15. Provides quality service by informing the client of rules, regulations, and legal requirements related to care and by documenting the client’s situation and own actions.
16. Responsible for following and implementing HIPAA, OSHA, and corporate compliance policies and procedures.

E. PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
1. Complete required documentation in accordance with legal and Medicaid requirements and DSHC policy and procedures
2. All documentation indicates the client’s progress, services provided, attainment of client goals and discharge referral information
3. Records progress notes pertaining to individual and group counseling sessions in a legible, coherent and timely fashion, using the electronic health record (EHR) system following health center policies
4. Reports to work punctually during assigned working hours; when a problem necessitates absenteeism or tardiness, the supervisor is notified immediately
5. Complies with all DSHC policies and procedures as well as Federal and State legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; informing management of needed actions
6. Adheres to a professional code of conduct and advocates for professional values
7. Complete 20 hours of ongoing training per year, or as required by state licensing board. (Including meeting participation and conferences.)
