Provides therapy for individuals experiencing mental health disorders consistent with diagnoses listed in the most current DSM. Services may be provided in the context of individual, couples, group or family interactions based on the assessment of patient needs. Generally, services are by appointment, but emergency triaging and disposition is provided as necessary. The therapist adheres to the highest standard of ethical behavior and patient confidentiality. During the course of treatment planning and coordination, the therapist may interact with one or more community agencies, law enforcement organization, and other health care professionals. Duties:
Enforces the integrity of patient rights and provides all services within the parameters of patients' rights, federal, state or local
Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for patients using the DSM-5 for mental health needs
Demonstrate proficient skill in evidence-based practices and theories to work with adults, children and their families
Assists patients and families to fully utilize community resources
Refers patients to other services as needed for patient assessment and progress
Shares expertise and information with colleagues throughout Steele Memorial Medical Center
Submits recommendations that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of behavioral health services
May utilize group therapy formats as applicable
Maintains client privacy and confidentiality. Does not share client information without a written informed consent from the client, guardian, or parent
Immediately reports violations of ethical behavior to his/her supervisor
Maintains knowledge of current accepted practices and research-based recommendations for different treatment interventions
Completes all documentation in a timely manner
Requirements:
Education Required:
Masters degree in Social Work
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Idaho
Related Years of Experience Required:
Completion of 3,000 hours post graduate degree in supervised clinical services and certified/licensed in the state of Idaho required
Completion of 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience in direct psychotherapeutic services to individual, families, couples and groups
Capable of working 8 plus consecutive hours, demonstrate ability to function under stress and rapidly changing conditions. Demonstrates the ability to perform triaging and crisis intervention

• Fosters others’ awareness of communication disorders and their preventions.
• Promotes healthy lifestyles practices for the prevention of conditions that result in communication disorders.
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication disorders.
• Reviews clinical records and case histories.
• Administer, score and analyze both standardized and non-standardized speech-language assessments as needed.
• Inform and instruct the team on intervention strategies, consistent with Evidence Based Practices.
• Attends CPSE-CSE meetings that may occur outside an employee’s regularly scheduled work day.

• Establishes an effective data collection and charting system to monitor students’ progress. Analysis and evaluates the data and the treatment plan at various stages to adjust treatment as needed to achieve maximum benefit.
• Consistently comply with federal and state mandates as well as local and agency policies in performance of their duties. Activities may include Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, Medicaid billing, report writing, and treatment plan/therapy log development.
• Follows therapy schedule established by Speech Department Head.
• Maintain a student treatment load of 50 billable sessions per week.
• Utilize Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP) procedures as applicable and necessary.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as in conjunction with other staff members and members of the instructional team.
• Maintain a current inventory of all Beyond Support Network equipment and supplies in treatment rooms.
• Submit inventory annually upon request.
• Ensures that equipment and supplies are used appropriately and maintained in good condition. Submit maintenance requests when necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the room and its contents.
• Maintains continuing education requirements for licensure and certification as required by New York State Education Department.
• Constantly maintain high professional standards at work with regard to personal behavior and interactions with other staff and families.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Department Head, Principal, and/or Director of Education.
• Work in partnership with others to meet students' needs. Acts as a consult to educational team and school personnel on matters of speech-language therapy.
• Instructs student and family in treatment and procedures to be continued at home.
• Participates in staff training, in-services, committee and departmental team meetings.
• Refers students and their families to community resources and services when needed.
• Work with colleges and universities when assigned as directed by the Beyond Support Network.
• Any Speech Language Pathologist while in the community on behalf of this agency will comply to all agency, county and State regulation as they apply to services and evaluations provided within the community. The Speech Language Pathologist will complete and provide proof of completion of The Early Intervention training PAPI – Parents as Primary Interventionists. Additionally the Speech Language Pathologist will and maintain an active Health Commerce Account, allowing access to NYSEIS. The Speech Language Pathologist is expected to work closely with the Evaluation Team and respond to the directives of the team supervisor and provide billing documentation to team supervisor as required.

• A strong knowledge base in speech-language development and speech-language disorders, as well as a strong skill set in diagnosis and intervention. Adopt current changes in education and speech-language pathology as they apply and engage in continuing education experiences to update their knowledge base and hone their skills.

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team.
