SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Chief Therapist – Radiation Oncology, interprets physician’s prescriptions, assists with machine preparation and interprets computerized treatment plans. Prepares patient for treatment, being mindful of the aging process, human development stages and cultural patterns, and administers therapy using sophisticated machinery. Maintains detailed patient records. Responsible for supervision of a particular machine and staff members operating that machine. The core Success Factors include: Instill Trust and Value Differences Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs duties on treatment machines to assure smooth patient flow and accurate administration of treatments, including proper dose and machine settings. Assists physician and physicist with treatment planning and basic dose calculation. Takes and develops portal film, takes measurements and contours and photographs treatment fields.Orients new employees to policies of department and provides functional guidance in treatment procedures. Provides instruction and functional guidance to new staff members and supervisors in positioning patients for treatment and performing basic dose calculation.Checks machinery for proper functioning including pressure, temperature and water level reading. Takes and develops films to assure proper machine output, beam and alignment.Performs contrast media studies and special procedures such as IVP and fluoroscopy. Interprets computerized treatment plans including use of immobilizing and blocking devices and carries out physician’s prescription for dose. Maintains an awareness of dose tolerance levels for certain organs of the body.Operates the equipment and machinery used to deliver therapeutic radiation treatments; this also includes the operation of simulators, CT simulators, film processors and computer terminals for treatment planning.Positions patient and explains procedures to allay anxieties and elicit cooperation being mindful of the patient’s age and needs. Monitors patients and treatment to assures safety and accuracy. Remains alert to patients’ reactions to treatment and changes in physical and mental status. Alerts physician to significant reactions or changes.Assist nurses as necessary including changing of dressings and certain sterile techniques for post-operative patients.Maintains accurate and detailed records for each patient including appointments, treatments administered, dose and monitor settings, photographs, etc. Assures that patients see physician as scheduled. Maintains scheduling records including appointment times, number of patients, number of treatments and patients starting and finishing treatments.Keeps treatment room stocked with necessary supplies and in clean and orderly condition.Maintains radiation safety rules and regulations for the protection of self, patient, other staff members, and visitors. Attends departmental and interdepartmental conferences as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BASIC KNOWLEDGE:Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology and registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists.Current and valid license from the Department of Health to practice in the State of Rhode Island. Thorough knowledge of the techniques and procedures of radiation therapy.Analytical ability to assist in treatment planning and to interpret physician prescription for dose and treatment plan. Numerical ability to perform dose calculations. Technical ability to operate equipment and carry out treatment.Ability to position patients and machinery for treatment.Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.EXPERIENCE:Two to three years progressively more responsible related experience, preferably gained in a similarly diverse and operationally complex health care environment is desired.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Continuous standing and walking. Frequent lifting of equipment and patients.Exposures to low energy radiation, but hazards are minimized by adherence to safety precautions. Wears badge to monitors exposure.Visual acuity to accurately position patients and machinery for treatment. Physical ability to lift and position patients and machinery for treatment.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None

We’re Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program upon hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience in procedural or peri-anesthesia care (Pre-op, PACU, OR) is preferred but not required.
Minimum 1 year as RN required

Provides evaluation of and care for respiratory therapy patients under the direct supervision of a licensed registered or certified respiratory therapist.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

Working under the supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist certified or registered this position will:
1. Set up and maintain low flow oxygen devices of 6 LPM or less to include nasal cannula or a simple mask.
2. Set up and maintain aerosol devices with Fi02 of equal to or less than 50%.
3.Deliver medications through a spontaneous small volume nebulizer.
4. Deliver medication via Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) or dry powder inhaler
5. Measure of peak flow, simple spirometry, and pulse oximetry.
6. Administer the following airway clearance devices or techniques: therapy vest, chest physiotherapy, incentive spirometry, suctioning via artificial airway, and positive expiratory pressure therapies.
7. Communicate appropriately and effectively with other members of the healthcare team regarding all aspects of patient care.
8. Provides assistance with patient and family/caregiver education along with other members of the healthcare team.

OB Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) - Bronson Battle Creek Birthplace - OB / Labor Delivery / Mother BabyThe Bronson Birthplace in Battle Creek has 15 beds – 11 for labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum (LDRP) care, 4 for antepartum/post-op care, 2 operating rooms and 3 triage bays. Additionally, the unit includes a newborn nursery. Here, pregnant, laboring and postpartum patients, as well as healthy newborns, receive comprehensive care. LPNs on this unit have the opportunity to care for postpartum couplets, assist in operating room procedures and provide support during deliveries.
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services which are within the scope of the practice of practical nursing to laboring, ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons as delegated, appropriate to the patient’s level of acuity and in accordance with established policies and procedures of the department and organization. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, and according to established policies and procedures, the LPN assists with surgical procedures as a scrub member of the obstetrical/surgical team. Prepares instruments and maintains a clean and safe obstetrical/surgical environment. The LPN will assist the Registered Nurse in collecting data, accompanying patients and responding to patient/family requests for services. The LPN may pass medications and administer IV therapy, per medication administration policy. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and successful completion of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nursing required.
Experience in health care delivery setting preferred.

Ability to work in environment:

- Performs the duties of a scrub nurse and surgical assist for assigned obstetrical cases. Reviews assigned procedures and ensures that all instruments and equipment are available and properly prepared according to established standards and individual provider’s preference. Assembles surgical trays and ensures that all equipment is properly assembled and in good working order. Scrubs and sets up sterile table; assists in accurately counting all instruments, needles, sharps and sponges; assists with gowning and gloving, assisting instruments, sutures, and other equipment as requested and anticipation of needs.
- Prepares operating room and Labor/delivery room for deliveries and procedures.
- Assists the Physicians/CNMs/PNPs and nursing personnel before during and after deliveries.
- Tears down the OR, LDRP room following procedures and deliveries, and assists house-keeping with cleaning as needed. Cleans equipment and returns to appropriate places. Prepares and returns instruments for cleaning and sterilization. Returns unused supplies to appropriate places.
- Checks, orders and restocks supplies inventories, instruments and equipment in appropriate areas. Rotates stock, stocks patient rooms, supply rooms, procedure carts, medication room, and utility rooms.
- Picks up and delivers specimens, equipment, meal trays, blood products and stat pharmacy orders.
- Cleans, cares for, and is able to utilize the computers and Central Fetal Monitoring systems in the obstetrical area.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position will prepare, dispense, and compound medication under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide prescription support services for patients to ensure safe, appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of medication therapy. Provide excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, strong problem solving, documentation and computer skills. Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support pharmaceutical care activities, complete pharmacy billing activities, record keeping, reporting, inventory management, and arrange appropriate medication delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimal experience, typically gained through 0-2 years relevant work experience. Ability to attend and successfully complete 160 hours of on the job training required. Banner Heart Hospital is one of the three largest single standing heart hospitals in the United States. We are a Level ll Cardiogenic Shock Receiving Center along with top STEMI receiving center, heart failure center, percutaneous coronary interventions, and all types of open-heart surgery. Banner Heart hospital has one of the largest structural heart programs in Arizona, performing greater than 150 TAVR’s per year along with mitral clips, and watchman. We perform over 600 open heart surgeries and over 1200 vascular surgeries per year. Over the last 10 years, Banner Heart Vascular interventions have increased by 30% performing fem-pop bypass, ELG, AAA, CEA, TCAR’s, and many of interventions for vascular needs.
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit is a 28-bed ICU, providing high level critical care to a large portion of cardiac and vascular patients as well as providing care for patients with implantation of Impella’s, IABP, SLED, CCRT, and EKOS catheters. We are a number one receiving center for patients needing hypothermia therapy post code. We have six cardiovascular surgeons, thirty interventional cardiologists, and nine vascular surgeons, specializing in hemodynamic monitoring and evidenced based care. We have excellent teamwork, a strong collaborative culture, and are looking for nurses interested in making a difference in cardiovascular care.
This is a full-time position working three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. About the role
As an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider, your primary focus will be the Hematology and Oncology service, with cross-coverage for Bone Marrow Transplant as needed. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients from the newborn period through their mid-20s and serve as a consistent clinical resource for patients and families throughout complex treatment journeys.
The program serves families across the Intermountain West and combines multidisciplinary expertise, advanced treatment, and research participation. Our teams contribute to national and international collaborations designed to improve outcomes and expand access to innovative therapies.
What you’ll do
- Assess and manage hospitalized pediatric Hematology, Oncology, BMT, and immunology patients, including new transplant and immunology consultations.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans in partnership with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Order and manage chemotherapy, infusions, prescriptions, supportive care, and treatment-related monitoring within scope and privileges.
- Recognize and treat disease- and therapy-related complications and respond to changes in clinical condition.
- Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspirates and biopsies, and skin biopsies.
- Coordinate consulting services, home care needs, follow-up, discharge planning, and safe transitions of care.
- Provide clear, compassionate education and guidance to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement, staff education, clinical initiatives, and department research.
Schedule and practice environment
This is a 24/7 inpatient service. APPs work 12-hour shifts with a rotating mix of weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays. The schedule supports continuous specialty coverage and close collaboration across the Hematology, Oncology, and BMT teams.
What you’ll bring
- Utah license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Utah Controlled Substance License.
- Federal DEA registration for Schedules II–V.
- Current PALS and BLS certification for healthcare providers.
- Preferred: Clinical experience in pediatric hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, cellular therapy, or another high-acuity pediatric specialty.

This position is responsible for scheduling and financially clearing patients for outpatient, inpatient or recurring procedures in one continuous workflow. Accurately schedules for a range of services as well as registration tools to complete all points of registration, ABN's, patient liability estimates, financial counseling and collections for scheduled services.

1. Receives complete and valid physician orders for scheduling. Uses department procedures and training to schedule patients for outpatient, inpatient or recurring procedures using computerized scheduling systems. Position Highlights

POSITION SUMMARY
