- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification required
- Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting

Position Title
Position Summary / Career Interest:
Cardiovascular Sonographers provide professional, safe and compassionate ultrasound imaging care to all patient populations. They are uniquely trained in the advanced understanding of ultrasound physics and instrumentation allowing them to optimize the ultrasound controls for the highest quality image acquisition. The sonographer is able to identify and evaluate the appropriate anatomical and physiological consequences that would be consistent with disease processes. They need to be able to adapt the routine protocol to a wide range of patients and disease-state variability, making each exam individual and unique. The sonographer manages the initiation of critical value notification to expedite optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Obtain a patient history and perform a pre ultrasound procedure assessment. The sonographer must utilize their professional knowledge to verify that the exam ordered is consistent with the patient history, indication and/or diagnosis and assessment findings. In the presence of any inconsistencies they clarify the procedure with the ordering physician.
- Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of the patients while they are under their care. Interacts and communicates with patients, explaining the procedure, reassuring them and eliciting their cooperation as needed.
- Perform routine and complex cardiovascular ultrasound procedures including echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms including treadmill, Dobutamine echo and bicycle ergonometry. Vascular imaging includes carotid Duplex, upper/lower venous/arterial, abdominal aorta, renal, venous insufficiency, and vein mapping procedures.
- The sonographer must demonstrate an understanding of the imaging planes obtained during a TEE exam. Assist the physician in the accurate acquisition of images from the esophagus. At the KU location the sonographer completes appropriate TEE probe cleaning and disinfecting.
- Perform professional, clinical and technical competencies of assigned location, but not limited to assigned shifts and be readily available when scheduled to perform on-call echocardiographic services as assigned to provide emergent echocardiographic services under the direction of a cardiologist.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and evaluate the appropriate anatomical and physiological consequences that would be consistent with disease process. The sonographer needs to be able to adapt the routine protocol to accommodate a wide range of patients and disease-states, making each exam individual and unique. Any additional enhancements that would provide beneficial information are initiated with the sonographer unless otherwise noted by the ordering physician.
- Demonstrate both cognitive and psychomotor skill sets in the area of cardiovascular disease states. These skill sets are necessary to accurately and efficiently obtain the appropriate vascular and echocardiographic ultrasound images and hemodynamic information as appropriate.
- Organize the acquired data in the appropriate sequence that will accurately represent the patient's condition to the interpreting physician. In the presence of critical values the sonographer must display competence in identifying, documenting and communicating this to the interpreting physician. Working closely with the interpreting physician in interpretive sessions, assisting in the evaluation of data and contributing relevant technical information.
- In accordance with the departmental QI program; the sonographer must provide quality, constructive feedback on peer to peer case study review as assigned; return QI studies to the technical director or their designee in a timely manner.
- Assists in maintaining efficient patient flow through the department, working as an active participant with the other members of the team.
- Responsible for completion of mandatory educational assignments as outlined by the department director.
- Participate in the education and training of sonographer students, residents, medical students and fellows, providing instruction in the area of cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.
- Assess the need for LVO contrast and bubble studies during echocardiography studies; administer and properly document IV’s, LVO contrast and bubble studies when performed.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the imaging planes needed to assist with sonographer-guided thrombin injection procedures in performed in the cath lab under the direction of the cardiologist.
- Assist with the assessment and maintenance of the equipment log. Make service calls when needed in a timely manner, resolve the issue, and document in the appropriate log. The sonographer must notify director/manager of issue in a timely manner.
- Maintains cleanliness of supplies, stocks linen and empties laundry on a daily basis.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established departmental guidelines. This role utilizes fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopic systems to support, trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine diagnostic exams. The Radiologic Technologist functions as a clinical role model and resource within the hospital, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
- May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
- Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
Requirements:
- Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
- X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides clinical and crisis intervention services to children and youth who have behavioral health disorders and their families. Treatment is typically provided in the clients’ homes and community, along with care coordination with schools, physicians, and other providers. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Provides intensive clinical and crisis intervention services to children at imminent risk of hospitalization or higher levels of care. Includes, but is not limited to:
- Intake assessments and treatment plans in accordance with standards of practice.
- Individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psycho-education.
- Face-to-face contact with children and their families in their own homes or communities as prescribed in the individual Treatment Plan, typically during after-school and evening hours.

We're looking for patient-focused, mission-driven therapists who are passionate about providing exceptional outpatient care. We welcome candidates with an interest in any specialty area, including orthopedics, sports medicine, pelvic health, vestibular, neurological rehabilitation, oncology, lymphedema, hand therapy, and more.
Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide individualized patient care, implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families. PTAs also collaborate with the rehabilitation team and support the continued growth of our outpatient rehabilitation services.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire, (or Massachusetts as appropriate). Completion of the Oncology Nurse Residency Program (ONRP) or 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse. Ambulatory and/or oncology experience preferred. Professional nursing certification (e.g., OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, RN-BC) is preferred, and AHA BLS certification is required (AHA ACLS is acceptable as a minimum requirement).

The Healthy Transitions Clinician will provide clinic and community-based services to youth and young adults ages 16-25 with significant mental health concerns. Healthy Transitions is designed to assist clients with meeting personal objectives for improving mental health, obtaining employment, reaching educational goals, and making successful transition to adulthood.
The clinician will apply clinical skills to provide behavioral health services and supports to meet the needs of clients. The clinician will be the primary contact person for clients and families. The clinician’s primary goals are to build a positive relationship with participants and assist them in developing their abilities for illness-management. The clinician will provide support, education, consultation, and basic services to the participants and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain knowledge of the Healthy Transition’s Coordinated Specialty Care evidence-based treatment model.
- Conduct client prescreening to determine eligibility and initial assessments to identify primary psychosis and symptom profile related to diagnosis
- Complete intake and onboarding of new clients, obtain history, risk factor information, and involve families when appropriate to collect information
- Provide psychoeducation to client and families
- Support clients as they work towards their employment and educational goals
- Use creative approaches and Motivational Interviewing to engage clients who may be ambivalent about participating in treatment.
- Provide clinical services as identified in the treatment plan, in the home, at a Center facility, and in the community.

- Remain current on available community resources relevant to clinical assignment and accesses them as needed
- Maintain ongoing and collaborative relationship with client, team members, and community providers and partners
- Develop treatment plans and initiate clinical interventions utilizing individual and group treatment and analyzes course and results of treatment
- Participate in case consultation, collaborative care meetings, and integrated treatment planning, providing consultation regarding client’s background, psychosocial functioning, and needs.
- Present and discuss program at community locations, job sites, hospitals, and with general practitioners for the purpose of outreach and recruitment

- Analytical skills necessary to evaluate patients’ mental health needs and to formulate and implement a treatment plan
- Knowledge of adolescent development and family systems issues.
