Position Summary
We’re seeking a staff RN to join our incredible hospital-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care with a multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities
- You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
- Certification in specialty area preferred
- One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.15 - $90.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

3. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia
4. Basic Life Support Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support (ALS)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training at the discretion of the department.

The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team is looking for an advanced practitioner to join their team in Danville, Pennsylvania!In collaboration with the physician, provides care to new or established patients. Demonstrates autonomy through patient evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. Orders testing as deemed necessary and remains proficient in interpreting results and prescribing appropriate medication and therapeutic regimen within the scope of practice of the physician assistant. These roles, undertaken in cooperation with nursing, staff physicians and other department staff, may include triage, telephone communication and patient education.
Job Duties:
- Assesses and establishes a presumptive diagnosis and implements treatment plans for their patient population.
- Makes accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record; orders and interprets diagnostic testing and consults as appropriate and prescribes appropriate medical therapy utilizing evidenced based practice.
- Prescribes, adjusts or discontinues medications or therapies as appropriate.
- Evaluates and reports to collaborating physician any circumstances or approaches to medical management or test results that present a significant risk to patient's health or well-being.
- Performs procedures within the scope of practice of the physician assistant license.
- Communicates with collaborative physician, patient, PCP and referring staff through telephone or other means of correspondence.
- Instills confidence in patient acting as their advocate by providing safe, ethical care and health education to the patient and their family in a language that they can understand.

Purpose:
This job exists to facilitate a timely, integrated and coordinated approach to the care of patients with a diagnosis of cancer and to provide quality nursing care for patients of the Creticos Cancer Center with cancer related health issues. The mission of the Oncology Nurse Care Coordinator is to improve patient preparedness for treatment by providing education and psychosocial support. The Oncology Nurse Care Coordinator also facilitates interaction between patients and their physicians, provides logistical support, referrals, coordination of care, and other assistance during the diagnosis and treatment planning stages (pre and post~operatively). POSITION SUMMARY

Provides care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements. 7. May coordinate the admission process including new resident evaluations. Provides verbal and written communication to residents, families and referrals sources regarding the process for admission to the center. Facilitates problem solving with residents, families, referral sources, insurance companies and clinical staff.
8. This position works under supervision, prioritizing data from multiple sources to provide quality care and support to the patient and family. Incumbents work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment with a strong focus on customer service. Interacts with staff at all levels throughout the facility, as well as patients, families and physicians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid LPN or LVN license in state of practice, temporary LPN or LVN license in state of practice, or compact LPN or LVN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice. Completion of a state approved IV therapy program may be required in certain facilities and/or departments in accordance with state scope of practice, regulatory requirements or facility/ department policy.
Banner Registry and Travel positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a LPN or LVN in the specialty area. 5. Minimizes radiation exposure to self, patients and other staff by the use of shielding, collimation, application of the inverse square law, and minimizing repeat exposures.
6. Maintains an expertise in anatomy, physiology, and pathology relative to imaging in order to optimize the procedure and ensure patient care / safety.
7. Assesses patient’s needs and provides imaging related to comfort, hygiene, range of motion, and provides support accordingly.
8. Prepares contrast agents, specific pharmaceuticals, and sterile trays; which are utilized for the imaging procedure according to procedural guidelines and protocols.
9. Educates patients regarding radiographic procedures by explaining the procedure and answering questions accordingly.
10. Promotes the team approach to providing Radiology services by positively interacting with the technical, support, nursing, and medical staff.
11. Engages in problem solving, crisis management, systems implementation, and performance improvements throughout the hospital to promote and support efficient, high quality, and cost effective patient care.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $56.15 - $98.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

Position Summary
We’re seeking a staff RN to join our incredible hospital-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care with a multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities
- You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification required
- Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. As the area’s only hospital, it features a Family Birth Center, Level III Trauma and Neonatal ICUs, Level I Trauma Rehabilitation Center, Children’s Therapy Unit and a 24-hour Emergency Department.
