Summary:
The level II Histology Technologist prepares histologic slides from human tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Pathologist.
Responsibilities:
Receives, accessions as required, and prepares tissues for microscopic examination and patient diagnosis and other biological materials using accepted histological techniques; performs proper labeling, fixation, embedding, microtomy, staining, and cover slipping.Perform Florescent Immunohistochenistry techniques.May do the following duties: Perform Immunohistochemistry, In-Situ hybridizations, Special Stains procedures, as needed.Serves as Charge Technologist.Evaluates complex and difficult samples to determine suitable methods of preparation and staining.Serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff.Prepares and evaluates stains, reagents, and solutions necessary for slide preparation following established policies and procedures.Instruct and observe student technologists.Assist in the validation, optimization, and implementation of new antibodies and special stains.Prepares for and participates in inspections and assists the laboratory in meeting all regulatory guidelines.Assesses competency of team members.Performs quality control, preventative maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of instruments and stains for optimal performance.Performs cytology processing, staining and cover slipping using accepted histological techniques.

Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Intermediate knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Intermediate knowledge of laboratory information systems. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience required as a Histotechnologist. Other Information: Additional Education Info: Associate’s degree with five (5) years or more of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. Bachelor’s degree required to assess competency.Additional Cert/License Info: Florida State License as a Technologist (TN License) or Supervisor (SU License) in the area of responsibility.

Summary:
Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area.
The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Greets patients and visitors. Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls. Summary:
Assists licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to the care and monitoring of equipment.
*** Mon - Frid with rotating weekends; Flex schedule; 4 -10 hour shifts ***
Responsibilities:
Floats to other departments as required, e.g., L&D, Cath Lab, MRI, etc., in performing the duties described herein.Cleans and sets up all types of anesthesia equipment.Assists Anesthesiologist with the placement of the A-line / Central-line and maintaining sterility of the room.Assists anesthesia provider in the preparation of supplies and maintenance of equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before/during/after anesthesia.Provides daily maintenance of all equipment and troubleshoots all equipment malfunctions including, but not limited to: monitors, anesthesia machines, ultrasound equipment. Notifies ABM to initiate service/repair as appropriate.Processes laryngoscopes, bronchoscopes, and glide scopes in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations.Performs other related duties as may be assigned.Maintains a sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies, ensuring stock is rotated to prevent expired supplies and to insure all equipment is functional.

Summary:

Summary:
The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. The PFSR engages with the patient or guarantor to obtain pertinent information and answer any questions in an effort to ensure that all required demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information is gathered and verified. Ensures all required notices and consent forms are signed accordingly.
Responsibilities:
May perform patient discharge functions including, but not limited to, review of after visit summary (AVS), future appointment scheduling, and referrals.Explains polices including all regulatory and financial consent forms; secures all required signatures.Collects patient out-of-pocket responsibility per collection guidelines. Provides patient estimates as requested. Prepares and balances a daily deposit of all payment collections.Verifies insurance benefits including obtaining insurance card(s) and confirms coverage is active. Determines correct insurance filing order, if multiple insurance coverages are effective for that service.May schedule walk-in appointments for services offered.Obtains pre-certification and authorization.May confirm physician and prescription orders ensuring accuracy.Provides exceptional customer service and ensures all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and courteous manner. May guide the patient to appropriate destination for services.Interviews patients and guarantors at the workstation or bedside to obtain all necessary information, including a copy of the patient or guarantor identification card.

We're looking for:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Require at least 1 years experience as an RN
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred

- Build foundational skills and knowledge through Preceptor directed orientation.
- Build skills in triaging, lab interpretation, pathophysiology of disease process, pharmacology, time management, and communication skills for intermediate acuity patients with acute and chronic conditions.
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Develop collaborative relationships with a resourceful multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide continuity of patient care through 12-hour shifts, patient centered care and team minded support.
- Be a valued member of a highly skilled, versatile nursing team committed to ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate healthcare to diverse patient populations.

Summary:
