Summary:
Under the supervision of nursing staff provides direct patient care and assists with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Responsibilities:
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living.Inventory and monitors patient belongings. Manages supplies on the unit.Observes and records patient behavior and activities. About the job:
The RN Case Manager directs and coordinates the care of patients from admission to transfer or discharge. This is done with the intentions of cost effective utilization of hospital resources, minimizing out of pocket expenses for patients, providing customer support to our internal and external customers, appropriate utilization of resources and patient advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Identifies discharge needs, determines the appropriate level of care that the patient can transition to, coordinates planning, and problem solves continuity issues to ensure seamless continuum of patient care and prevent the patient from having to readmit to the hospital.
- Assures all appropriate clinical information is provided to outside agencies.Â
- Communicates pertinent information to the appropriate members of the patient care team both effectively and professionally.
- Takes responsibility to identify and eliminate barriers to effective patient stay management and promotes improvements in work processes within department, hospital, and community.
- Responsible/accountable for professional development and maintaining licensure. Takes ownership for self-education.
- Advocates for patient legal, social, and ethical rights while balancing patient resources and hospital financial stewardship.Â
- Refers quality issues and poor utilization of services to the appropriate sources.Â
- Coordinates/facilitates patient/family education
Requirements
- Associates degree from an accredited RN program
- Current license to practice as registered nurse in the State of Ohio
- Minimum of 3-5 years' recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Must be able to work occasional weekend shifts, as needed.

Assists the pharmacist in preparing medications for dispensing. Does not dispense any medication that isn’t double checked by a registered pharmacist. Is directly responsible for running the pharmacy robot and maintaining stock in automated dispensing cabinets. Draws up doses in the IV class 10,000 clean room utilizing a class 100 laminar flow hood and aseptic technique. Performs pharmacy stock QA inspections on all nursing units. Makes delivery/pickup rounds to unit and departments and performs computer order entry functions. Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisors/pharmacists. Provides customer service by processing paper, electronic and phone requests for medications.

Summary:
Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with registering patient for inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing physician calendars.
Builds critically important relationships with physicians, OR staff, as well as insurance representatives in order to help facilitate all scheduling duties.
Communicates with referring physician's office, clinical department(s), and/or other appropriate personnel to exchange necessary information and coordinate surgical/procedural/diagnostic testing and DME as appropriate. Assists in completing surgical orders as directed by department. Routes as appropriate.
Reviews patient charts to ensure imaging is available and all pertinent information to maximize appointment.
Meets with surgical/procedural patient or patient's caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation. Provides explanation of process, pre-procedure instructions, and addresses concerns and questions. Schedule patient/family surgical conferences.
Round with patients in practice to ensure Excellent Patient Experience is met. Follow-up on reported issues and assist with service recovery.
Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary. Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, or refers to financial counselors for follow up.
Performs general clerical duties including assisting with the front/back desk as well as scheduling appointments. Assist with signing up patients/Proxy with MyChart activations and Telehealth visits.
Work Department incoming referral work queue daily. Assist patients with appointments in other specialist offices as requested/referred by our physicians.

Summary:

Performs electroencephalograph (EEG) testing.Responsibilities:
Identifies and corrects artifacts. Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
Performs data retrieval and reduction operations and video EEG recordings prepared in a form suitable for interpretation by the physician.
Performs long-term video EEG monitoring on patients, demonstrating proficiency in the International 10-20 system. Performs job functions following the Guidelines for EEG and Long Term Neuro-Diagnostic Monitoring in Epilepsy as set by the American Society of Electro-Neuro-Diagnostic Technologists.

Summary:
