About the job:
The Multi-Skilled Technician (MST), under the direction of a Registered Nurse, will provide patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. This position is key to providing a best-in-class patient experience and plays a vital role in the care of our top priority – our patients.
What you will do:
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including: bathing/skin care (I & II), grooming, and eating.
- Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly
- Obtain vital signs, including: height, weight, blood glucose levels, and I&O
- Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN
- Document patient data accurately and completely
- All other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency course upon hire or transfer
- Completion and maintenance of BLS healthcare provider training
- Experience: Previous patient care experience and/or technical education in health-related field preferred

About the job:
The Medical Receptionist / Unit Coordinator provides administrative support for patient care providers, medical staff, patients, their significant others, blended and extended family members, and outside agencies. This detail-oriented professional keeps the day-to-day operations of our patient care units running efficiently so that our caregivers can do just that – care for our patients.
What you will do:
- Communicate and transcribe orders for appropriate clinical colleagues in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assemble and maintain all medical records with current information.
- Collaborate with the unit charge nurse, manager, and/or patient placement to identify bed and unit needs.
- Promptly manage phones and patient call lights, relaying messages as appropriate.
- Keep patient accommodation updated as ordered; enter/manage patient charge information.
- All other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Previous health care experience or demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Proficient in the use of administrative technology (Microsoft-based PCs, telephones, fax, printers) required; EMR (Cerner/Epic) experience preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete the MC Unit Coordinator Training Program upon hire/transfer
- Independent working style with a strong attention to detail; Skilled at organizing and prioritizing a varied workload

Regulatory Specialist designs, directs and facilitates implementation of effective systems to evaluate compliance and assure continuous accreditation and regulatory compliance. Scope includes Mount Carmel owned and affiliated entities managed by Mount Carmel Health System.
What you'll do:
- Accountable for the preparation and support of wholly owned facilities, relative to regulatory and licensure compliance.
- Responsibility includes multi-site locations and requires travel to each of the facilities.
- Assists in scheduled/unannounced surveys by regulatory agencies.
- Assists in evaluation of regulatory compliance and operations from a process perspective across departments and/or multiple service areas.
- Facilitates and uses change principles to accomplish regulatory compliance and continuous survey readiness.
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate openness to new ways of thinking.
- Facilitates communication both external and internal to affiliated organizations as necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
- Advises on matters regarding regulatory requirements in the development and implementation of organization plans or activities.

What we're looking for:
- Education: Associate or Baccalaureate in Nursing. Masters in Nursing or Business Degree preferred.

Provides clinical assessment, treatment planning, group, family, and individual counseling, and education services for patients.
Responsibilities:

Summary:
The Patient Navigator is responsible for guiding patients through the complexities of the healthcare system. Working collaboratively with physicians, staff and other health care professionals to provide care coordination across the health care continuum for all assigned patients, the Patient Navigator ensures that safety, best practice, and high quality standards of care are maintained across the continuum. This role provides support and resources to patients, including connecting patients to available services, navigates insurance authorizations, coordinates care between providers, and works with healthcare providers to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
Assisted patients in coordinating care with other medical professionals. Coordinates patient care plans, including scheduling appointments, following up with providers, and providing/obtaining referrals; helps patients overcome obstacles that they may encounter while pursuing treatment. Coordinates a wide range of activities and services to support the patient by utilizing a variety of communication methods including but not limited to telehealth, face-to-face, text, telephone, or e-mail.Provides educational resources to patients on their medical condition, treatment plans and other health-related topics as directed by the clinical team and is a resource for the patient on the insurance and administrative aspects of their peri-operative/peri-procedural care.Works closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care management teams. Facilitates care coordination, and documents efforts. Extract data from medical record sources to gather information and perform outreach. Communicates details to the appropriate team, providers, and/or supervisors.Collect and manage all relevant clinical data (intake forms, photographs, patient health history, labs, images, etc.) prior to consultations/surgeries or procedures. May assist with obtaining authorizations, scheduling appointments and coordinate care between providers, where appropriate, connecting patients to available services, such as primary care providers, specialists, and other community health resources.

Summary:
The Radiation Chief Therapist supervises staff, staff development, technical procedure development and administrative duties. Summary:
The Dosimetrist develops patient radiation treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and the Medical Physicist, as well as assists with the radiation therapy treatment simulation and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Assists with or performs quality assurance of radiation treatment plans.Assists with or performs the fabrication of beam modifying devices and immobilization devices.Designs a treatment plan to deliver a prescribed radiation dose and fields to a defined tumor volume.

Required Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Radiation Therapist with dosimetry training or graduate from a Medical Dosimetry Program.
