Summary:
The registered pharmacy technician I works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department. Additionally, provides a high level of assistance in distribution, dispensing, and compounding of non-sterile medications, and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5K, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and subject to certain eligibility requirements. Please note, that candidates must possess prior inpatient work experience to qualify for the sign-on bonus
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians and students .
Assists with customer service and patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues and completing medication histories.
Maintains and supports medication distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated dispensing cabinets, code carts, trays and kits.
Prepares non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous medications and cross trains in more advance functions when deem appropriate
Process medication charges/credits when applicable.
Completes other responsibilities as assigned in support of pharmacy operations and within the pharmacy technician scope of practice.
Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas. Repackages bulk medications.
Performs prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.

Summary:
Responsible for assisting pharmacy leadership in day-to-day supervision and managing the operations of technician personnel and pharmacy systems. Responsibilities:
Supervises, trains, directs and serves as an internal resource for Pharmacy Technicians to support department operations and goals. Provides feedback to the team regarding daily assignments and responsibilities to ensure work is being followed up accordingly.Responsible for the intra- and interdisciplinary day-to-day management and auditing of operational pharmacy processes. Responsible for providing pharmacy leadership with end-of-month operational metric summary. Contributes to departmental fiscal planning, cost-reduction and containment, and revenue recovery.Monitors quality and assurance processes and ensures compliance and adherence to established programs, regulations, policies and procedures, and applicable institutional licensure.Serves as a role-model and provides mentorship and coaching to technician personnel. Involvement in the recruitment and hiring process. Assists pharmacy leadership with time and attendance, scheduling, performance evaluations, and development of corrective actions for technician personnel. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues.Supervises the professional growth and development of Pharmacy Technicians by managing the quality of training and services performed by technician personnel. Acts as a department leader to support personnel engagement and subsequent development of department action plan. Acts as a liaison to the Pharmacy Technician Training Program.Performs all Pharmacy Technician roles and functions including coverage including, but not limited to: inventory procurement management, auditing, and pharmacy automation systems.Assists pharmacy leadership in department project management including the identification, implementation, and on-going monitoring and maintenance.

Summary:
Under the general direction of the Chief Therapist, the Radiation Therapist contributes to the organizational plan of the Radiation Oncology Unit, to the quality of patient care and supports the institutional philosophy. The Radiation Therapist is technically competent at the entry level and interacts with other areas of the department. Applies ionizing radiation to the patient, as instructed and prescribed by the physician according to departmental standards, state guidelines, and Memorial Healthcare System’s policy and procedures. As designated, acts as a Charge Therapist and coordinates technical activities and acts as the point person in the absence of the Chief Therapist.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Physicians, Physicists, Dosimetrist, Chief Radiation Therapist in simulation or clinical setup process. Presents set up questions and solutions while utilizing Crew Resource Management Principles and Practices. Observes all established radiation safety measures (ALARA).Performs appropriate quality control warm-up procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports equipment malfunctions to chain of command.Serves as resource to radiation therapy students by role modeling professional behaviors, instructing, assessing, and evaluating. Stocks and stores appropriate supplies in technical areas. Informs Chief Therapists when supplies are needed. Completes monthly department data logs as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.Manages patient scheduling in a technical area including simulations, field verifications, daily treatments, and cone-downs to avoid delays and or interruptions.Performs CT-Sim procedures and documents accurately. Executes simulations in accordance with department policies and procedures. Prepares room and equipment properly for each simulation and monitors patient. Performs special procedures (4D CT Respiratory Gating, HDR, TBI, SRS, SBRT, Oral and IV Contrast, Urethrogram) and monitors patient for adverse reactions and quickly seeks assistance of a nurse or physician. Completes treatment documentation.Participates in scheduled rotations in all department equipment, serves as emergency on call therapist, and as needed, rotates between both Radiation Oncology departments. Maintains flexibility and assumes all other additional responsibilities as assigned.Prepares room and equipment properly for each treatment. Performs imaging (CBCT, KV, MV, respiratory gating) as ordered, to position patient. Analyzes results, identifies issues and takes appropriate action including repositioning patient and repeating procedure to deliver therapy according to treatment plan. Performs special procedure treatments (HDR, TBI, SRS, SBRT) and completes treatment documentation.Reviews physician's orders and radiation therapy treatment plan. Identifies and reports potential liabilities and risks management to Chief Therapist.Manages patient documentation in Aria for team communication, charge capture and billing reconciliation. Prepares the treatment record information for setup and treatment. Accurately performs weekly chart checks and QA audits at end of treatment through Encounters in Aria EMR. Accurately captures and reviews charges for treatment and simulation procedures.

Summary:
The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. The PFSR engages with the patient or guarantor to obtain pertinent information and answer any questions in an effort to ensure that all required demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information is gathered and verified. The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. The PFSR engages with the patient or guarantor to obtain pertinent information and answer any questions in an effort to ensure that all required demographic, financial, and insurance eligibility information is gathered and verified. Ensures all required notices and consent forms are signed accordingly.

Summary:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for resolving claim edits for payors using the knowledge of the appropriate billing form and billing guidelines as well as various insurance contracts and payment methodologies to ensure a compliant claim. The Patient Financial Services Representative (PFSR) serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and guarantors in the hospital, ambulatory or medical office setting. May perform patient discharge functions including, but not limited to, review of after visit summary (AVS), future appointment scheduling, and referrals.Explains polices including all regulatory and financial consent forms; secures all required signatures.Collects patient out-of-pocket responsibility per collection guidelines. Prepares and balances a daily deposit of all payment collections.Verifies insurance benefits including obtaining insurance card(s) and confirms coverage is active. Summary:
Assists in managing the daily operations of the Sterile Processing and Distribution area.

Provides care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
** The role as a respiratory therapist for Memorial System Manor is unique because you help individuals live their best lives from a healthcare perspective. We do not have multiple floors, an emergency room, perform ABGs, the only diagnostic we perform are EKGs occasionally. The duties are to care for ventilator dependent respiratory failure clients, routine nebulizer treatments, various non-manual chest physical therapies, and bedtime CPAPs and BIPAPs.
