Job Description Addendum for Nurse Residents:
Nurse Residents will be required to sign a Nurse Resident Program commitment which details the expectations for the residency program.
Residents are required to attend ALL classes and be able to follow the schedule of their assigned preceptors throughout the entire clinical rotation of the residency program.
A full-time, minimum of 36 hours per week schedule must be maintained throughout the first year of the residency program. Time off requests during the precepted portion of the residency may not be granted.

Your Job Requirements:

Your Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinates and assists in orientation for new secretaries.
• Maintains PAR levels by ordering office/clinical/nutritional supplies as needed.
• Perform receptionist duties including, but not limited to, answering the department telephone recording complete messages, greeting patients/visitors in a professional and timely manner, providing general information and direction, maintaining appointment schedules and department files
• Responsible for preparation, accuracy and completeness of reports, records and clinical packets.
• Communicates with clinical team regarding pending discharges, occupied and unoccupied bed status and bed tracking reports.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness in and around work area, centralized nurses' station/work area and other assigned areas.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
- 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or
- Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or
- Certified Medical Assistant program Or
- Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or
- Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or
- Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or
- EMT Certification/Paramedic License
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required
