Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager, Oncology & Infusion Pharmacy Services to lead pharmacy operations, clinical programs, and strategic initiatives across oncology and infusion pharmacy services. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, medication safety, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and patient-centered care while supporting the growth and advancement of oncology and infusion pharmacy services.
The Manager provides oversight of pharmacy staff, programs, and resources while collaborating with executive leadership, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to improve quality, safety, service, affordability, and outcomes across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily regional operations of oncology and infusion pharmacy services, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication management.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives, new programs, service line growth opportunities, and process improvement efforts.
Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, productivity metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Promote medication safety, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for oncology and infusion services, supporting evidence-based medication use and clinical best practices.
Oversee 340B program compliance, managed care utilization strategies, revenue integrity initiatives, and cost-containment efforts.
Pharmacist and pharmacy staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, coaching, competency assessment, and performance management.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive stakeholders to align operational and clinical priorities.
Manage pharmacy procurement, inventory, contract compliance, medication distribution, compounding, and investigational drug activities.
Support educational programs, staff development, clinical initiatives, and interdisciplinary patient care activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of pharmacist experience, including at least three (3) years of pharmacy leadership or management experience.
Active Pharmacist licensure in Connecticut, or ability to obtain licensure within 120 days of hire.
Oncology, infusion, ambulatory, or hospital pharmacy leadership experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading teams, managing operations, and driving performance improvement initiatives.
Strong financial, analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
Knowledge of oncology pharmacy practice, pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, medication safety principles, and healthcare operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred.
Experience with 340B programs, infusion center operations, and specialty pharmacy services.
Experience implementing new clinical programs and service line expansion initiatives.

Oncology Infusion Pharmacist
We are seeking an Oncology Infusion Pharmacist to ensure the safe, accurate, and effective preparation, verification, and dispensing of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic, and supportive care medications for oncology patients. This role collaborates closely with oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and pharmacy technicians to optimize patient outcomes, maintain regulatory compliance, and support evidence-based cancer care in an ambulatory infusion setting.
Key Responsibilities
Review, verify, and prepare chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, supportive care, and infusion medications in accordance with oncology protocols, USP standards, and state/federal regulations.
Evaluate medication orders for appropriate dosing, treatment regimens, organ function, laboratory values, allergies, drug interactions, and protocol compliance.
Verify chemotherapy calculations based on patient-specific parameters including diagnosis, body surface area (BSA), weight, and laboratory results.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians involved in sterile compounding and medication preparation to ensure accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related issues and optimize treatment plans.
Monitor for adverse drug reactions, toxicities, and therapy-related complications and communicate recommendations to the care team.
Provide drug information and education regarding oncology therapies, treatment protocols, supportive care medications, and infusion administration requirements.
Maintain compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, hazardous drug handling standards, and controlled substance regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical programs, and department projects that enhance patient safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
Active Pharmacist license in the State of Connecticut required.
Experience in oncology pharmacy, infusion services, or hospital pharmacy preferred.
Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 Oncology Residency preferred.
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred or eligibility to obtain certification.
Strong knowledge of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, supportive care agents, sterile compounding, and hazardous drug handling.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary oncology teams.
Ability to care for adult and geriatric oncology patients while delivering high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
Current Connecticut RN license.
BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred
Oncology nursing experience in infusion, ambulatory, medical oncology, hematology, or acute care settings.
OCN® certification or willingness to pursue certification.
BSN preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience preferred.
Experience administering chemotherapy and biotherapy preferred.

Position Purpose
In the Emergency Department (ED) at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering care to emergent and critical patients.
What You Will Do
Engage in didactic learning sessions designed to enhance your understanding of Emergency Department (ED) nursing, with a focus on utilizing a state-of-the-art simulation lab.
Apply critical thinking skills to manage high-acuity and complex patients effectively.
Pursue certification as a trauma nurse, with opportunities for professional growth in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing required
Valid RN license in Connecticut
The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
ACLS and TNCC certification (support available post-hire)
Important Consideration:
This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through Emergency Room Nursing. Candidates must be able to function independently in the Emergency Room
Position Highlights

Position Purpose
At Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Inpatient General Surgery unit delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric surgical patients throughout their inpatient stay. This role focuses on post-operative recovery, ongoing assessment, and coordination of care, ensuring safe outcomes and a smooth transition from hospitalization to home or the next level of care.
What You Will Do
Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-operative general surgery patients, including assessment, pain management, wound care, and monitoring for complications.
Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, case management, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient progression, recovery, and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, medications, activity restrictions, and recovery expectations to promote safe transitions.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required

At Saint Mary's Hospital, our Interventional Radiology Registered Nurses provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Working alongside radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, RNs play a critical role in patient assessment, procedural support, conscious sedation administration, monitoring, recovery, and patient education throughout the continuum of care.
What You Will Do
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
Administer medications and conscious sedation in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Deliver pre-procedure education and post-procedure instructions to patients and families.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Previous Interventional Radiology experience.
Three or more years of recent ICU, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Cath Lab experience.
Experience with conscious sedation and image-guided interventional procedures.
Current ACLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
