The Child Development Teacher promotes an environment of care for children that is safe and nurturing. The Child Development teacher interacts with children using developmentally appropriate practice to support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Posting Specifics
- Pay Rate:Based on experience
- Shift Details: Full-time positions(36 hrs/wk) Hours of operation at the Center are Monday-Friday from 5:45am - 6:45pm. Typically STARTING at 8:00am and ENDING between 4:00pm - 5:00pm. Need to be available all 5 days a week (Monday - Friday).
- Location: Child Development Center, Located at the R-Kids (Utah Valley Hospital Child Development Center)
- Additional Details: Passion for working with young children Flexibility in schedule Creativity and adaptability Interest in a long-term career working with young children Due to the nature of the center being census based, scheduling differs based on how many children attend each day and there are often many changes to the schedule so this position requires flexibility to work well.
- This role involves providing continuous hands‑on care for young children, including frequent floor‑level interaction, diaper changing, and supporting their daily needs throughout the day.
Minimum Qualifications
- Six months experience working in an early childhood program
- Pediatric CPR, First Aid Certification within 60 days of hire
- Food Handlers Permit within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Development/Education or a closely related field (Elementary Education, Family-Life Studies, Child Psychology). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
- Certificate in Early Childhood Development (CDA – Child Development Associate)
Essential Functions
This position works under broad guidelines dependent on the age, development, and classroom regulations for each group of children. Teachers must have great flexibility in providing care and activities for children.
- Establishes a developmentally appropriate room environment that is safe, welcoming, clean, nurturing, and that stimulates learning and discovery.
- Provides direct supervision of children at all times.
- Warmly interacts with children using approved early childhood education standards and immediately attends to their physical and emotional needs.
- Follows all regulatory standards and best practices as outlined by Utah Department of Health, Child Care Licensing. Completes 20 hours of training to review these required standards annually.
- Accurately and professionally maintain daily records as required by State Licensing including incident reports, attendance sheets, and daily record sheets.
- Organizes engaging and educational activities, materials, and daily schedules that meet the developmental goals for each child in care.
- Maintain observation notes, conduct formal assessments, and provide other portfolio documentation to assess children’s progress in achieving developmental milestones and behaviors. Information on each child’s development will be shared with parents regularly, with two formal parent conferences annually.
- Observes and recognizes obvious difficulties individual children are having mastering developmentally appropriate milestones or behavior and discusses follow-up actions with leader and parents if needed.

Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employees to see and read information, documentation, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and to be able to assess children’s needs.
- Frequent interactions with children, colleagues, clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes manual writing, frequent use of computer/tablet (typing, documenting), performing routine care duties (changing diapers, sanitizing/cleaning, preparing/serving food, medication/bottle preparation), and engaging with children in fine-motor play. Dexterity and strength of hands and arms is needed to frequently lift and carry children up to 35 pounds.
- Expected to utilize full range of movement to safely care for children. Full range of movement includes the ability to walk, bend to retrieve, push, pull, and lift/carry children and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. Employees must interact with children at the child’s level, which requires the ability to frequently lean over, bend, squat/crouch, kneel, work on hands and knees, get down and back up from floor level, and sit on the floor or at a low level.
- Expected to be able to quickly respond to an emergency by running after a child in danger and perform all CPR/First Aid actions.

Your Job Responsibilities:

• Provide staff support through regular rounding, organized support programs, and debriefings.

The Rotor Wing Pilot is responsible for safe and effective aircraft operations using established methods and procedures and in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer's recommendations.

Essential Functions
- Accountable to safely and effectively operate aircraft in accordance with federal regulations, manufacturer's recommendations, and Intermountain policies.
- Demonstrates effective, independent critical thinking process in preflight planning and aircraft operations.
- Accountable for maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of aviation regulations, policies and procedures.

Serves as a resource to discuss transports, flight operations, and/or other work-related questions/concerns/issues. Uses non-transport time for work-related/professional development activities.
- Assists medical crewmembers, including moving bags, directing and participating in on-loading and off-loading patients, replenishing aircraft oxygen and engine oil, and other duties as needed.
- When acting as a Lead Pilot, accountable for assisting with administering and managing satellite base functions and activities. Additional accountability for taking corrective action as necessary whenever deviations from established rules, procedures and policies have occurred.
- As an Instructor Pilot and/or Check Pilot accountable for evaluating pilot flight performance, accurate and timely documentation and ongoing training program assessment and quality improvement.
- As a Mentor Pilot acting under the Company Pilot Development Program, acts as a mentor and resource for Second-in-Command Pilots employed by the company, and will complete all training and requirements of the program.
- As Safety Representative accountable for monitoring safety issues, assisting with the oversight of and facilitating resolution to safety-related problems. Participates in Safety Committee review, implements best practice, provides training, and educates within their base or area of assignment.

- Fosters the provision of generalized Spiritual Care to those served (e.g., screening for Spiritual Distress and responding to signs of spiritual distress, etc.) by non-Spiritual Care colleagues via programs of Spiritual Care education and direct modeling of Spiritual Care practices.
- Facilitates opportunities for interfaith or specific faith meditation, prayer, worship, and as appropriate participation in religious sacraments, sometime in collaboration with clergy or ministers from outside communities. Contributes to maintaining appropriate sacred space.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, with other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
- Reports directly to the Manager of Spiritual Care and in some cases may also report to an immediate ministry site supervisor as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Theology, Religion, Spiritual Care or Spirituality, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of Spiritual Care experience in the ED/ER preferred, including CPE training, which is required. An equivalent combination of experience may be considered.
- Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) for five years strongly preferred via one of the following licensing groups: APC, CASC, NACC, and NAJC, which includes completion of a master’s degree as required by one of the certifying agencies from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) academic institution with completion of 4 units (1600 hours) of ACPE accredited Spiritual Care education, and faith-based endorsement as recognized by one of the certifying agencies.
- CISM training and/or experience leading debriefing and responding to moral distress among staff.
- Experience with de-escalation techniques and responding to chaotic situations.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to travel to both locations (Silver Spring and Germantown).
- Ability to plan, develop, and implement programs for fulfilling the departmental objectives in meeting the spiritual needs of patients/families throughout the care continuum and life cycle for improving the health of our communities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in the primary language of the workplace (English) with evidence of excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to present effectively before groups. Must be able to communicate effectively using clinical/medical terminology.

Assists families with their needs in relation to the patient’s illness so they can provide supportive care to the patient:assists family members in understanding procedures surrounding a death and in contacting families or other significant persons. - Participates in the life and work of the department and patient service area to assure integrated efficient services; participates in providing overall site coverage, including weekends and holidays, conducts services as scheduled; serves on department, site, or system committees as assigned.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- One (1) to three (3) years of Spiritual Care experience, including CPE training, is required. Chaplaincy or Spiritual Care ministry experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of experience may be considered.
- Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) strongly preferred via one of the following licensing groups: APC, CASC, NACC, and NAJC, which includes completion of a master’s degree as required by one of the certifying agencies from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) academic institution with completion of 4 units (1600 hours) of ACPE accredited Spiritual Care education, and faith-based endorsement as recognized by one of the certifying agencies.

About this role
As a General Podiatry Physician, you will work alongside a well-established group of orthopedic fellowship trained trauma and foot/ankle surgeons managing patients in the clinic, the hospital, and perform exceptional quality care as a Podiatrist. You will also work alongside the wound team with inpatient and outpatient care, the team consisting of a wound physician, physician assistant, and wound nurses.
