We are looking for a committed and patient-focused, COTA to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions. You will assist the Occupational Therapist as directed. You will report to the Therapy Director.

Starting pay is from $35.00 an hour depending on experience.

$5000 Sign-On Bonus paid in increments after 60 days of full-time employment.

*Responsibilities*

* Conducting patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
* Administering therapeutic exercises and modalities
* Documenting patient progress and communicating with other healthcare professionals
* Providing education to patients and their families on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques

*Qualifications*

* Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility setting, but willing to train the right person
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
