Aya Locums has a fantastic opportunity partnering with a healthcare facility in *Long Beach, CA*, seeking a *Pediatric Endocrinologist!* Peek at the details below!
* *Location:* Long Beach, CA
* *Specialty:* Pediatric Endocrinology
* *Profession:* Physician (MD/DO)
* *Pay Range:* $220–$245/hr
* *Contract Length:* 13 weeks, with an ongoing need
* *Start Date:* As soon as credentialed
* *Schedule/Hours:* 1 week per month, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with weeknight and weekend call coverage. Schedule generally includes a half-day of clinic, hospital rounding, and call availability.
*Work Details:*
* *Practice Setting:* Outpatient pediatric clinic with inpatient hospital rounding and consult coverage
* *Support/Coverage:* Call coverage may include requests from the ER, NICU, PICU, and inpatient hospitalists
* *Schedule Flexibility:* Video visits may be considered; locum-to-perm candidates are welcome
* *Procedures/Responsibilities:* Insulin pump management, continuous glucose monitoring, and supervision of infusion center endocrine testing
* *EMR:* Epic
* *Facility:* MemorialCare Medical Foundation – Children's Village, located on the Long Beach Medical Center campus
* *Local Candidates:* Highly preferred
_We pay weekly and cover malpractice insurance. This opportunity offers an all-inclusive rate._
*Requirements:*
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology (BE accepted within the applicable board eligibility timeframe)
* Active California license
* Minimum 2 years of experience
* Epic EMR experience required
* Clean background and malpractice history
* Recent fellowship graduates may be considered
