*Full-Time Physical Therapist – Orthopedics & Sports Medicine*
*Location:* Prosper, Texas
*Employment Type:* Full-Time
*Schedule:* Weekdays; no evenings or weekends
*Position Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dependable full-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation team in Prosper, Texas.
This position primarily treats patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including sports medicine and joint-related conditions. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, clinically confident, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
*Essential Responsibilities*
* Evaluate patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, mobility, and functional limitations.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnoses, physician protocols, functional goals, and expected outcomes.
* Provide evidence-based treatment to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or reduce disability.
* Guide patients through therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance.
* Use appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities within the physical therapist’s scope of practice.
* Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs, injury prevention, postoperative precautions, and the safe use of assistive devices.
* Monitor patient progress, perform periodic reassessments, and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
* Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record.
* Follow applicable billing, coding, compliance, safety, and documentation requirements.
* Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and other members of the care team.
* Help maintain an organized, efficient, and patient-focused clinic environment.
*Qualifications*
* Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
* Current and unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist license.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
* Orthopedic, sports medicine, and postoperative rehabilitation experience preferred.
* Strong clinical judgment, communication, time-management, and documentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to meet the physical demands associated with providing hands-on patient care.
