*Occupational Therapist – School-Based Evaluations*

Blue Sea Educational Consulting is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school-based evaluations for students. We currently have an immediate opportunity available in Patchogue, with the option to take on additional evaluations and cases based on your preferred locations, schedule, and availability.

Blue Sea partners with more than 85 school districts throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, offering clinicians the flexibility to begin with the current Patchogue assignment and expand their caseload as additional opportunities become available.

This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys conducting evaluations, collaborating with educational teams, and helping students access the services and supports they need to succeed in school.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for school-aged students
* Complete thorough, evidence-based evaluation reports in accordance with district requirements and timelines
* Participate in CSE and multidisciplinary meetings as needed
* Collaborate with educators, related service providers, families, and school personnel
* Develop recommendations for services, accommodations, and student supports
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation through Blue Sea’s electronic system
* Communicate professionally and consistently with school personnel, families, and Blue Sea staff

*Qualifications*

* Active New York State Occupational Therapist license and registration
* Experience conducting pediatric or school-based evaluations preferred
* Strong written communication and report-writing skills
* Ability to travel to the current Patchogue assignment
* Willingness to travel to additional locations within Nassau and/or Suffolk County, if interested
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
