Williamsburg Family Dental is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients. The ideal candidate is collaborative, dependable, and committed to providing thorough, high-quality clinical care.

We understand that every hygienist has different scheduling needs. We’re happy to work with you to create a schedule that fits your availability and works well for both you and the practice. Whether you’re looking for specific days, a particular number of hours, or greater flexibility, let’s talk!
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
