We are seeking a *Mammography Technologist* to join our team. *Key Responsibilities:*

* Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and understanding
* Perform imaging procedures, adjusting equipment and exposure settings for optimal image quality
* Review images for accuracy and diagnostic quality before submission to the radiologist
* Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team, including working closely with radiologists
* Maintain patient records, including relevant medical history and documentation in EMR systems
* Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and radiation protection protocols
* Experience with Sectra, Epic, PenRad applications highly preferred
* Educate patients on breast health, including self-exam techniques
* Coordinate with outside facilities to obtain prior imaging when needed
* Support coding, billing, and general administrative tasks related to procedures
* Maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas
* Perform routine quality control testing to ensure equipment is functioning safely and effectively

*Qualifications:*

* Minimum associates degree in Applied Science required
* Completion of 3D/tomographic training required
* Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
* Current state license as a mammography technologist/radiography technologist
* Up to date continuing education experience as required
* Experience with EMR and imaging systems
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
* Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
