*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work primarily with pediatric patients in a clinical setting, providing early intervention services in the home setting, or teletherapy with cyber school children. Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for your patients by enhancing their communication skills and overall well-being.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities in patients.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
* Implement therapeutic interventions to address speech and language disorders.
* Collaborate with parents, Service Coordinators and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Provide education and resources to families regarding speech therapy techniques and strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
*Skills*
* Proficiency in *speech therapy* techniques and methodologies.
* Experience with *early intervention* strategies for young children.
* Knowledge of *pediatrics*, particularly in addressing developmental communication issues.
* Strong ability in *patient assessment* to identify individual needs effectively.
* Commitment to providing exceptional *patient care* with empathy and professionalism.
* Solid understanding of *physiology knowledge*, including how it relates to speech production.
* Comprehensive grasp of *anatomy knowledge*, particularly concerning the structures involved in communication.
