*Northern Michigan Vein Specialists — Part-Time Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT/RVS)*
*Northern Michigan Vein Specialists* is seeking an upbeat, dedicated, and patient-focused *Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT/RVS)* to join our fun, fast-paced healthcare team in *Traverse City, Michigan*.
Our team evaluates and treats a broad spectrum of venous conditions—from spider veins and varicose veins to venous ulcers—and is committed to ethical, compassionate, patient-centered care.
*Job Type*
*Part-time (2–3 days per week) no nights, no call, no weekends!*
*What You’ll Do*
As an important member of our clinical team, you will perform diagnostic venous ultrasound examinations and help provide the information needed to guide patient care and treatment planning.
*Responsibilities include:*
* Perform high-quality *venous duplex ultrasound examinations*, including *reflux studies* and *venous mapping*
* Work closely with the physician and clinical staff to support patient assessment and treatment planning
* Communicate with patients in a professional, compassionate, and reassuring manner throughout their visit
* Provide appropriate education and information regarding the ultrasound process and their care
* Accurately document studies and patient information in the *electronic medical record*
* Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow all applicable *safety, quality, and infection-control standards*
*Qualifications*
* *Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)*
* *At least 1-year* experience performing *venous insufficiency reflux ultrasound examinations*
* Excellent patient communication skills and a patient-first attitude
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy, patient-centered clinical setting
* Comfortable working with *electronic medical record systems*; *Streamline experience helpful but not required*
