We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for consistent PRN coverage at our acute care LTACH in Muncie, IN. This position offers flexibility with scheduling while providing the opportunity to help patients improve their independence, safety, and functional mobility through individualized care.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled physical therapy services, monitor resident progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. The PT will also provide guidance and supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as appropriate.
Resident Assessment and Treatment: Evaluate residents' functional abilities. Establish and execute a plan of care based on individual goals to improve resident's safety, functional mobility, and overall independence.
Documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Supervision: Provide appropriate guidance and supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants.
Professional Development: Participate or lead team development meetings.

Requirements:
Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist state license or license eligibility.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist clients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
Technology: Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical record platform.
