Staffing Strategies is seeking a *licensed Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR)* for a hospital-based therapy opportunity in *Peru, Indiana*.

This position is available on either a *part-time or full-time basis* and offers competitive compensation of *$40-45 per hour*.

The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve functional independence, safety and quality of life.

*Responsibilities:*

* Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care
* Provide skilled interventions to improve ADLs and functional independence
* Address strength, coordination, mobility, safety and adaptive needs
* Establish measurable goals and monitor patient progress
* Modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical needs
* Educate patients, families and caregivers
* Provide guidance and supervision to COTAs when applicable
* Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation and other members of the interdisciplinary team
* Participate in discharge planning and recommendations as appropriate

*Qualifications:*

* Active Indiana Occupational Therapist license
* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
* NBCOT/OTR credential as applicable
* Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
* Hospital, inpatient, outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred
* Strong communication, clinical assessment and documentation skills
