*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in veterinary medicine and a passion for horses and equine medicine.
This role involves diagnosing and treating lameness and involves 75% sports medicine. The Veterinarian will work closely with horse owners and support staff to deliver exceptional client based veterinary services.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
* Develop treatment plans for various health issues, including administering medications .
* Sports medicine emergency care and critical care services for injured or ill horses.
* Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Educate horseowners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
* Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations and blood work.
* Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
* Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and training.
* The position has several opportunities for work hours and growth in the practice.
* The location in Florida has seasonal variations in the work hours.
* Requirements include: DVM, VMD or equivalent degree validated in the USA.

* Equine Veterinary experience is highly desirable.
* New graduates are considered with an equine background
* Equine imaging skills are highly desirable.
* Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to diagnostics is an asset.
