*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing services. In this role, you will be responsible for performing patient evaluations, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform care plans.
* Administer medications and treatments accurately, including injections, IV infusions, and wound suturing, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
* Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information, medical records, and treatment progress efficiently.
* Provide specialized care for diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, neonatal patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on diagnostic evaluations, trauma management, critical care procedures, and discharge planning.
* Monitor patients' responses to interventions, manage acute pain cases, and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure safety and comfort.
* Educate patients and families on health management strategies, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
*Requirements*
* Valid nursing license (RN) in the relevant jurisdiction with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
* Demonstrated experience working in hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers; ICU or emergency room experience is highly desirable.
* Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding is advantageous.
* Strong clinical skills in areas such as IV insertion, catheterization, ventilator management, sterile processing, and infection control protocols.
* Experience providing care for patients with complex needs such as dialysis, hospice & palliative medicine cases, or behavioral health conditions.
* Knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiology (cardiac catheterization), ophthalmology (botulinum toxin treatments), trauma medicine, infectious disease care, and geriatrics.
* Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring critical response skills such as triage or acute care situations.
