*Job Overview*
Pineville Community Health Center is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both X-Ray and CT procedures, demonstrate excellent patient care skills, and maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-Ray) examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
* Operate CT imaging equipment and perform CT procedures safely and efficiently.
* Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting for interpretation.
* Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
* Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
* Monitor and maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues as needed.
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.
*Qualifications*
*Required*
* Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
* Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
* Current Kentucky Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility to obtain).
* Minimum 2 years of experience in both X-Ray and CT imaging.
* Current BLS certification.
* Strong knowledge of radiology safety practices and imaging procedures.
* Excellent communication and patient care skills.
