Full-Time Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics

The Orthopedic Center is seeking a *Full-Time Physical Therapist* to join our growing outpatient orthopedic practice in Palm Bay, Florida.
We are a busy, physician-owned practice providing comprehensive orthopedic and podiatric care to our community. Led by *Dr. Gonzalo Valdivia*, a well-established orthopedic surgeon who has served the community for more than 20 years, our team is committed to providing care that is *appropriate, prompt, efficient, compassionate, and of the highest quality*.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our physicians and clinical team while treating *The Orthopedic Center's own patients*, allowing for strong continuity of care from diagnosis and treatment through rehabilitation and recovery.
We are looking for a Physical Therapist who values excellent patient care, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to be an important part of a close-knit orthopedic practice.
Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for The Orthopedic Center patients.
* Develop individualized plans of care using evidence-based practices and appropriate clinical judgment.
* Provide skilled physical therapy treatment to relieve pain, restore mobility and function, improve strength, and help patients achieve their maximum functional potential.
* Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation programs, and appropriate home exercise programs.
* Educate patients and their families or caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, functional limitations, precautions, and progress toward established goals.
* Communicate and collaborate with our orthopedic providers and other members of the healthcare team to promote coordinated, high-quality patient care.
* Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
* Complete accurate, compliant, and timely documentation in our *Prompt EMR system*.
* Demonstrate excellent patient service and contribute positively to the overall effectiveness of the practice.
* Maintain professional and clinical standards consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
* Participate in continuing education, professional development, and training.
* Meet established productivity/utilization expectations while maintaining our commitment to quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
* Graduate of a *CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Program*.
* Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate, as applicable).
* Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility and ability to promptly obtain Florida licensure.
* Current *CPR Certification through the American Heart Association*.
* Comfortable using computers and electronic medical record systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Two or more years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred; however, qualified candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.
* Strong clinical and critical-thinking skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality patient care.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to prioritize responsibilities and effectively manage multiple patient-care needs.
* Positive, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
* Desire to continue developing professionally and clinically.
* Experience with orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation is a plus.
