*Nurse Practitioner Job Description*
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physicians Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive medical services, focusing on outpatient care. The Physician's Assistant will be instrumental in enhancing patient outcomes through effective diagnostic evaluation, case management, and treatment planning.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
* Perform assessments and diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
* Administer treatments and procedures using aseptic techniques in accordance with established protocols.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
* Provide education to patients regarding health and pain management, preventive care, and treatment options.
* Manage cases for patients requiring specialized services such as surgery, diagnostic imaging, treatments and therapies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with the clinics policies.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
* Accurate documentation and listed plan of the patient's on going care and recommendations to ensure the highest quality of care at each visit
*Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program.
* Current Physicians Assistant certification and Hawaii state licensure.
* Current DEA and NED license.
* Experience in a clinical setting.
* Proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and interpretation of lab results.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases effectively while providing compassionate care.
