*About the Position*
As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide excellent patient care while helping create a positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities include:
* Taking dental radiographs
* Assisting the dentist chairside during procedures
* Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
* Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments
* Updating patient medical histories
* Obtaining blood pressure readings and other patient information
* Taking impressions
* Performing various laboratory procedures
* Scheduling procedures and coordinating patient referrals
* Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
*What We’re Looking For*
We are looking for someone who is *experienced, dependable, personable, and team-oriented*, with a genuine interest in providing excellent patient care.
Qualifications include:
* *Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience*; 2+ years preferred
* Current *Maine Radiology License*
* Current *CPR certification*
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
* Desire to continue learning and expanding clinical skills
* Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
* *Certified Dental Assistant certification is a plus*
* Experience with *Eaglesoft Practice Management Software is a plus*
* Ability to lift up to *25 pounds*
* Ability to spend the majority of the workday on your feet
*Schedule & Compensation*
*Full-Time | 36 Hours/Week | Four Days Per Week*
*7:00 AM–5:00 PM*
*$22.00–$28.75 per hour*, based on experience and qualifications.
