Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team. This is an on-call opportunity in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.

The physician will provide on-call cardiology and interventional cardiology consultative services for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures in Salt Lake City, UT, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

*Responsibilities*

* Provide cardiology and interventional cardiology consultative services for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
* Perform procedures including pericardiocentesis, endocardial biopsies, and placement of intra-aortic balloon devices
* Perform percutaneous revascularization procedures, including balloon angioplasty, atherectomy, endoluminal stenting, intravascular ultrasound, intracoronary Doppler flow velocity measurements, and rheolytic thrombectomy
* Manage patients before, during, and following percutaneous revascularization procedures, including high-risk coronary and peripheral vascular percutaneous procedures
* Provide on-call coverage during off-hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Complete QA/QI documentation for all procedures, complications, and outcomes

*Qualifications*

* Completed residency training in an accredited core specialty program leading to eligibility for Board Certification in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology per American College of Cardiology (ACC) standards
* Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
* Current BLS and ACLS certification (or equivalent)
* Able to respond to on-call activation within 5 minutes by phone and be on-site within 30 minutes
* Strong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary cardiology team

*Schedule*

* On-call coverage only — no daily on-site requirement
* Availability required during off-hours when the facility clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Response requirement: within 5 minutes by phone, on-site within 30 minutes of activation
* Estimated engagement period: September 2026 – August 2027
